Strider is supposedly about an alien taking control over Earth, but since the first level says "Казахская ССР (en.wikipedia.or...)", there are small red stars everywhere, and one of the bosses holds a hammer and sickle... well, we all know what this game is really about.
This TAS is an improvement of about 2 seconds due to various minor optimizations.

first of all, SNES never had a strider game, only NES. second. genesis (aka mega drive) version is based on original arcade version, almost the same game, in this case.
