I had the pleasure of playing this once, bari sax. We got it in high school band one day, played it, had it for three weeks by which time we got to that point near a concert where the director spends all the practice time on the little tiny things and bores everyone else who just want to do a run through, we were no where near a concert but we got to that point. And then that Wednesday, after only three weeks our director decided to take it back up and we didn't see it for the next year and a half I was there. He did this with finale no. 4 by Tchaikovsky at the same time, this time I kept my COPY, but didn't get to play it in band until we played a different arrangement in our community concert band about 2 years later. HS arrangement in Eb and the newer one in Bb, I played in the same band, and sat next to, a composer who agreed the older one was better. For those who don't know how to figure sax out, for us it was in C and G.
On my audition my key got stuck in the middle of my first etude and so it messed up my tone for the rest of the etude and made a crazy noise and cause me to be alt😭but I'm so glad you made it!!! I can't wait to watch/hear you guys!
Thanks haha I'm just disappointed because I was literally on a roll too but then they changed the audition and that wasn't cool. Plus, we had probs with the recordings because they had this weird gurgling noise in the back and when we finally got it figured out we had 5 days left to record....oh well it was a lot of fun last year though!

I wonder when this was recorded.
I want to challenge !!!
I feel like everyone’s only playing this at state. My high school wind ensemble is playing this pretty good, not this good, but pretty close.
