Some people just can't mask what they are going through. I don't think the interview was bad. Pretty standard. You can tell Fletch at the time had some sort of anxiety. Fidgeting hands and his respirations were pretty fast. Cut the guy some slack. He looks sad, cause he probably was. Hope he is okay now.

I completely agree with you. I get a sense that they were both trying to mask some deeper feelings and that just sucks. They seem like they were really going through something especially with their anxiety about perceptions. It sucks that they’ve been categorized and shoved in boxes they don’t want to be in. I know I’ve been guilty of doing that when describing them to others. I wish people would not criticize either of them for how they act in interviews, like they always try to give thorough answers even if they’re not feeling it. I have a lot of respect for the both of them. Fame is a bitch sometimes

Wyatt and fletcher are both so talented, and they've dealt with each other since day 1. I understand the energy they put toward each other. Its Brotherly love and they'll always have each other back when it comes to it.

Somehow everyone who attempts to interview them does a horrendous job. It's the same terrible cookie cutter questions because the interviewers never care enough to do research.
I watch lots of interviews with the garden, and a lot of them are the same. I think it’s just because the band themselves are a little closed off. Love them though

I'm listening to/watching their stuff few times a year, for ~ >5 years. Just my observation based on a tiny sample: I've a feeling they're getting more and more different from each other and one of them is making better lifestyle choices. Just a thought ;)
I think the one that has been making better choices is Wyatt. Even though Fletcher is pretty amazing, he looks really tired and sad. When I heard Puzzle's "Places we choose not to look" EP I got really concerned. I can tell Fletch has been going through A LOT and he's probably dealing with severe depression and addictions. When I listened "Throw a Hammer at the Sky" it was even worse. I mean, he is clearly explicit about his self destructive behaviours and $u1c1dal thoughts and I feel really sad for him. I hope everything gets better because Puzzle's music style and lyrics have been pretty depressing and miserable lately :(
@@VVB1tcj it’s definitely concerning, especially if it keeps heading in this direction is would be devastating if something bad happened. I think it’s pretty clear that even though Fletcher is dealing with his own issues, they’re having an affect on his relationship with Wyatt. I don’t think they’re splitting anytime soon or anything like that, but I bet it’s rough seeing your brother in such a bad way. I hope things improve, or are improving.

What a terrible interview! These questions could have been asked of any band. Look at Nardwuar's videos. If an artist knows you've done your research, they'll always be able to give more interesting, more detailed answers.
Vague nonsense questions get vague nonsense answers. Just constructive criticism though, keep going!
I love watching garden interviews. Although, I don’t really care for some of the people that interview them. I like this girl tho, she seems genuinely interested in them. Great video 👍🏼
