Miami Senior High School Scores Big Win at International Basketball Tournament- July 2007

The Miami Senior High School basketball team, led by their coach, Marcus Carreño, also a Miami High alumnus, won first place at an international basketball tournament held in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The diverse team was invited by the Federacion Deportiva del Guayas, which offered participants a unique opportunity to travel abroad and interact with players from different countries.
The trip was partially sponsored by the City of Miami Mayor's International Council.
