I have been using corn silk fibre for a long time .. I dry them, grind them and use it all through .. here we have lot of people roasting it on embers on these movable stalls , who just collect it through the day , end of the day I go with my bag , & pick it up and voila .. loads of fibre 😍😍
I did a Fire Element soap and I used goat milk, colloidal oat’s, pea purée and carrot purée and oh my goddess it was amazing I luvd it. I usually put banana purée and colloidal oats and either coconut milk or goats milk. I luv bananas in soap. They are amazing and I luv my bars to have a thick creamy lather and it’s so good. I do wanna try corn silk. I can’t do silk because it comes from worms and I hate worms I can’t do it. I’m ordering it and I’m using the corn silk. Thanks for doing this. 🖤
Ahh- again we thank you for sharing! This inspirational video will stay with me forever, as I live in the Midwest, where corn silk abounds. It will be a game changer for me and my soaps. I cannot wait for harvest time!!🎉👌👏 Thanks again, can’t wait to see the bubble test 🤓 your awesome!! And your kid let is adorable 🥰
Gosh your girl growing up soooo fast and I just love her hair. How is your cat coping with you being on his chair more....mine takes over my office chair a lot these days and gives me the "tude" when I have to move him Like do I buy him his own? 🤔🤔 I'm going to have to find some corn silk now. Really looking forward to the lather tests. Another beautiful shiny soap for sure. Really enjoying these experiments.
I didnt see your youngest at end of vid as my i'net died and just rewatched vid. Kids needing their corn lol. Such gawjus girls. And dont ya just love cats, they so generous 🤣🤣🤣
Congratz on making such a great life for yourself, it shows in your kiddoz. It feels good to make a positive difference in the world and you're succeeding. Tip of the hat...
excited for when you do the mushroom soap saw your other video where you mention it a few days after my rambling on discord about it. LOL liked the design on this one
Haha your daughter got you good 😊 I can’t wait for lather testing hey I first soap I made had no palm oil or lard and making soap with those has changed my mind I’m willing to try anything but my soaps with tussah or palm or lard or tallow are not drying at all so I love it today I’m feeling better after my procedure on my si joints so I might make a beer soap today lol
Some people are just so corny! "Hydrolyzed silk proteins" , "amino acids" basically the same thing. But...this discussion has me as a not vegan soaper thinking about bone broth and or gelatin. Because...ya know...amino acids. And also what's good for the gut is good for the skin! But I don't want a meat smelly soap either. I'm gonna think about it though!
That’s a very interesting idea. How would you incorporate the bone broth, use it instead of water in the lye solution? Would it need to be frozen like milks? Such a fascinating idea.
@@heathermoreland6015 , I'm not sure. The idea popped into my head when S&C was talking about the amino acid profiles of all the silk substitutions. I think I'll definitely play with the concept soon though!
It’s corn!
Yes the corn silk is the fibre around the corn 🌽,, 🥰
Love all these soapy additives. Can’t wait to see the testing.
Your girls are beautiful, haven’t seen them for a minute and they have grown a lot!
Nature's Garden has powdered corn silk😊 I love how you set things straight on the amino acids ❤ love ya bunches my dear soapy sister!
And you!
The kidlets entries 😂😂 that was awesome! I can't wait to see the lather on these!

So you use the powder in your soap? I read some people make an infusion, but powder sounds so much easier!
Beautiful soap! Anxious for the lather test results. You're kids are funny! Great sense of humor! My daughter's hair is curly like the first one.
So excited to see the lather tests! Thanks for another fabulous series ❤
Kidlets and Corn!! Love this design!!😍

They both are! Time zooms. The cat left me a present in my bath tub today, so I think she’s pretty mad about me stealing her chair. 😹

I wonder if corn starch would have the same effect as the silk, or if it would just be something fun to throw into my next batch
What about milkweed silk?
I plan on trying some when I find it. 😊
Kidlet!! 😍
To the lather tests. 🤗👉🏾
My mom always calls those types of people loud and wrong😂

Gelatin is really fun in soap!

U can freeze the bone broth and use it as ur water in ur lye solution or u can use it as half ur water in ur lye solution.
I’m like you! I eat bananas everyday and want them to work and so excited to see!! 😃 🎊
