I’ll never forget seeing him in Kahaani. He played the IB officer with such skill, even with his feeble body and a mediocre look he was able to make his presence known with an intimidating and overbearing aura that demanded respect.

Problem is not the lead role, problem is being a hero and making bad movies. He has lot of lead roles which were appreciated by audiences because those were good movies and he was lead but not typical hero. Examples are Gangs of wasseypur, babumoshai bandookbaaz, haramkhor, sacred games, manto and many more.

When you're part of industry, you do not feel envious to other actors who share the same carpet as you do. SRK never said he's a great actor but his Fandom, charm and biggest fan base it more than enough, in add on he's a intellectual with a doctor degree, he got awards for his social works , well renowned as a human. You can not utter anything against him as he respects every individual. Just search for Interviews, every actors will tell you same story, Nawaz is a better actor for sure but acha hona hi kaafi nhi or humble hona, abusive language ka use Kam hona Taki film family watch ho bhi jaruri h.. Nawaz k films family watch nhi hoti jo theater m lagta isi liye wo kabhi bhi elder logo k liye favorite nhi hoga.. 😊. I agree with you, bro. I think Javed Akhtar once said somewhere that actors should learn from Rajesh Khanna's downfall that film success is not for an individual but for the whole team. I feel Kangana, Nawaz, and Mukhesh Khanna did not learn from that.
To all those saying Nawaz is just calling out the film industry for its shortcomings, calling out wrongdoings is fine but being holier than thou is not. Nawaz believes that there is no one better than him not even pankaj tripathi and manoj bajpayee.
You are forgetting a few other names as well, I want to add Kay Kay Menon, Vijay Raj, Arshad Warsi... All of them are great when it comes to supporting male characters in bollywood movies.
If u ask me, I would say Manoj is my favourite among all of them... His supporting character in the movie Satya as Bhiku Mahtre is still one of the best portrayal ❤️
nawaz uddin siddiqui is not doing anything wrong , he is being honest. nawaz is just fed up from the industry because industry wants to impose sharukh and salman again and again on the audience . in my honest opinion time of srk has gone away , his recent comeback is not an honest hit , his film became a hit becuase of the milllenial generation who grew up on his films during 90s , but you cannot keep repeating your charachters subtly . he is not wrong about SRk . and when he says he is not optimistic about bollywood , he is on point with his logic . which film we can remember and say yeah that is the film i would like to watch again and again (No movie 🤦♂) .

@@Kausnewactually Leonardo DiCaprio himself said that romantic might be the hardest because you can learn all the acting skills but you can't learn charm.
Me being an ex theatre artist I can say that doing everything in every other genre is next to possible and easy compared to doing romance on stage or on screen it is difficult to develop that chemistry between u and a person with whom u don't share any sort of romantic feelings. So when a theatre artist dose romantic scene it feels cringe sometimes. Coz my seniors who did multiple shows were teaching us romantic skit we were cringing out alot coz chemistry and charm was missing in that skit it dont makes them a worst actor it just don't suit to majority of theatre artists they can adapt every othwr genre easily but not romance it is difficult to do. And also romance is an overrated thing in movie and theatre industry.
Only good-looking people can be superstars in our country. To be a superstar, people need to adore your offscreen persona. Unfortunately, that's the reality and yes, it's the audience's fault. Only a few can have it. Others are only remembered as good actors. It's not like he got into the industry not knowing this. Most people in the world lead average lives.

Eg, Manoj bajpai, nawaz siddiqui, vikrant massey, tapsee pannu, kriti sanon, radhika madan, siddhant Chaturvedi, Kartik Aryan, Rajkumar Rao, kangana rannaut.
It means that if the audience has accepted an actor he/she survives the low phase of their career.

Aur aise hi career zinda rehta hai. Amitabh jaise legend bhi ab filmon mein chota se chote role ko apna raha hai aur audience ke bish khud ko zinda raakh raha hai. Deepika was rich dark brown color when she became hit, Kajol was accepted as tanned brown. They later bleached themselves l. I guess Rekha also was darker before. I can tell you many dark brown appealing heroines.
Nawaz is actually not at all good looking, has no height or no body to be a superstar or be in lead roles. All his movies or shows are the same with same expressions and abusive language, you cannot watch with family.

Nawaz has to accept the fact that he might be one the best actor in the industry but can never be the next big star after Khans, Devgan, Akki, Hrithik etc.

What to do ,this is reality. For once a actor who is dusky is acceptable but not an actress. I remember a press conference of some South director where he was asked by journalist about him casting a woman as main lead despite she was not good looking. Imagine how our society is set up, that person has audacity to comment about someone's look openly. Looks matters alot in every industry, whether it's from india or foreign. BTW it was relief that director scolded journalist.

He appeared in the movies like Dev D and Talaash for very small side roles. We can imagine ..since how long he had been struggling in the film industry to become a fine actor and getting accepted by the audiences. Ajkal k zamane me jaha Star kids ko finger tips per movies and popularity mil jati hai. To bitterness aana is very obvious 😢
The point is, people want to see that pose for the last 35 years, tells you something. Its much bigger than just face, complexion, acting skills etc. It's called being able to win people's hearts. And that's what SRK has been able to do. There's no point in dragging SRK's name in everything.
