People from team black are Daemon fan girls only. Aemond is the real MVP. Just think about how hard his childhood was and he still managed to become better than others at his age, I am sure Daemon is nothing compared to Aemond's potentials, it's just a big age difference between these two. Aemond would become something bigger than Daemon could only imagine in his dreams.

@Daemon Targaryen psychopathy is spectrum so he has some traits. But psychopaths actually can have cognitive empathy, can like animals and even love family in some way

@@jamien368 or maybe maesters gaslit him because they were jealous of how cool and savage he is. There's no similar incident like Joffrey where he tortured animals for fun and shit like that. Fans cry about him shoving 3 year old Joffrey Strong in dragon poop but anyone will lose their cool if a bratty toddler behaves like a pest and keeps annoying them like Joffrey did when they were minding their own business.

that's all I think about when the people around him are appalled by his behavior...you're exactly right he is the monster they created. His big brother was an asshole to Aemond, now he holds Aegon's fleeting life in his hands with 7 Kingdom's worth of reasons to smother him. Alicent never intervened on his behalf as a child until he had finally lost an eye, yet she is surprised at her abandonment. Daemond acted badly as he wished for all the Realm to see at court, not realizing who was in his audience learning from his actions. His kin laughed at his folly and took his eye, and so he was made to be called Kinslayer. Aemond may not be fit for the Iron Throne, but he is the only one of worthy to sit upon it. "Tis I the younger brother who studies history and philosophy. It is I who trains with the sword, who rides the largest dragon in the world."
His hair has more charisma than some characters

He’s going the be a total badass here, I mean, Aemond is pretty much 99% of the greens strenght. He changed a lot since he had Vhagar, he became colder, more cruel, calculated…And he saw Daemon as the only one worthy to battle with, recognising the potential and also the stamina. 2 warriors destined to battle each other. Also, the details here are amazing. For example in the beginning when he was training with ser Crispy Strips, sometime between the battle and the talking he already noticed His nephews long before They noticed him. The calm posture he kept throught the dinner till the very end when Luke laughted at the pig fool joke may i add..this is when he lost it, as he’s been holding a strong hatred for that. They mocked him back then and now he wants to Show them that literally they don t stand a change against him. That he would do them a lot worse than they did to him, when he lost an eye (and Even though he admitted it was a fair exchange, this does not mean he is not livid about it). The only one who can stop him, for the moment at least, is Daemon, who Aemond sincerely admires (He aspire to be him). Their interactions will be epic as hell. Aemond is going to be the revelation of the season. ❤can t wait for what’s to come, his story with Alys Rivers and also if there s something going on between him and Helaena

D aemon D aah maester aemon between two DareDevil
Aegon and Aemond have always been my favorite from team Green (I like Otto and Alicent too). Their kids portrayal and adulthood was shown so well and was entertaining as hell in the show. Criston Cole is annoying and Helaena too. I like Daemon and Rhaenyra for the most part from team Black but that's about it unfortunately definitely not a huge fan of Corlys and Rhaenys or the kids that bullied and traumatized Aemond. So far I'm rooting for team Green because they seem more honorable and wise except for Cole and Helaena.

Did nobody learn the point of GoT? The honorable and decent die ignoble deaths. Pretty much everyone vying for power is a complete arse.
I wouldn't say that. They're all deeply multifaceted characters with their own motivations, drives, urges. There's a lot more to Game of Thrones and the Song of Ice and Fire series than just 'this is a good guy', 'this is a bad guy'. They're all flawed in some way or another.
That's why I love this series so much. There's no white and black good guys or bad guys (minus Ramsay Bolton and The Mountain, and Meryn Trant, who were cast as straight-up villains, even if Ramsay Bolton was an awesome character with a lot of emotional depth and absolute sheer insanity). As an author, I strive to create characters this intensely deep and awesomely "alive". Even the Night King was doing what he was magically programmed to do, the same as an animal on the hunt. He wasn't doing it maliciously or out of evil spite or hatred. He was as neutral as a hunting lion. Scary, but not evil.
