No matter where I look I always come back to you for tutorials because no one takes the time and explains the as well as you. I don't know how many songs I've learned from you but they're the songs I now play the best, and the most often. Thank you, and keep them coming.
Couldn't agree more, such a relaxed method. I have only been messing around for 50 years but since the grandkids picked up my old Eko the urge came back and that cost a new Yamaha. Fingers killing me! So many video's around which start off with someone showing off, pretending to be Mark Knopfler, this is just great and doesn't make me feel such a novice. Thanks
I don't know how to thank you, this was the most advanced video i could find on RUclips teaching this song, most of those tutorials on RUclips are for beginners, Thank you very much.
Hey Erich I love your tutorials, have always watched em. Iv been playing on a crappy 80$ AUD guitar for years because Iv never been able to afford a proper guitar but Iv stuck with guitar and kept playing for the past 2 years learning from you
I'm starting to bloom a little as a musician and you taught me the theory I needed for song writing, good foundational rhythm. I'm not a beginner anymore. I can sort of hold my own now. Thank you.
great lessons man you have a great attitude and temperament towards music and the teaching of it. People forget that music is supposed to be fun and has the ability to open up a spiritual door in anyone who has the ability to set aside their ego and competitive side. (putting people on a pedestal or counting up someones flaws). We are all different, we all learn differently. Peace from CT and keep up the good work.
Ian Kelly dude, I've been struggling for a year now. I pick up some things and drop some things, but you may have just given me the most helpful advice. I'm highly competitive and can be a bit ego centric. As if opening a door, you changed my whole perception. Thanks, Ian.
I have learned so much from you. There is 0 douche in you, unlike most instructors on RUclips. Jonathan Kehew and yourself are great. Thanks a ton sir.
Diane Smith Man, I want to troll you so hard because you've gone up and down this comment thread eviscerating everyone. I genuinely thought you were just a super troll, but this was a nice comment.
This helped me SO much. This is one of my favorite songs and there are so many tutorials on this of people playing it differently but this one was my favorite and really easy to learn Thanks!
Thanks for putting yourself out here to help out folk like me. I really appreciate that I can quickly and easily find good quality lessons and advice on your page. This is one of my all time favorite songs. Will be great to be able to play this!
been playing 2 years...youtube taught....you are one of the best there is for me. love the vid's! I played this at a festival after playing guitar for just 2 months...with my friend.......I was so nervous, basic strum., But now I can noodle a little bit too
Finaly, I have to leave a note here. You're doing a great job! I'm playing guitar for more than 35 years and I do still find new tips in your lessons. Carry on man!
Thank you Stephan. That's my hope that I can always add a new tidbit for even the most advanced player. I appreciate your comment. Please, stay in touch. e :)
You are the best instructor I have seen! No need to respond, I know you are busy. I am no one special, just wanted to tell you you are doing an awesome job! Thanks, a lot!
Thank you so much Robert. I truly appreciate you taking the time to write such a kind comment. It goes far, so thank you:-) and you are someone special.
Wow! Alex! That is so great to hear. Love it when I hear someone get that love for music back again! Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Tell me of your progress. KEEP ROCKIN!!!!! e :)
Thank you so much you're a great teacher! I started playing guitar for a month and I really enjoyed learning this song with the sort of riff at the end, sounds super cool^^
not just a simple song. but a great one. @yourguitarsage this is the song that got me to play again. i love it and wanted to thank you for making us feel so at home with you. you rock sir
you went to divine mercy with my dad, paul. he just got me your book from amazon. i been playing for 5 years and knew who you were when he said yourguitarsage. epic. small world. nice lesson too!
Thanks, sage. I'm adding you to my crowded roster of learning methods. Nice editing to maintain flow and pacing. I second some other comments that a close up on your hand would be helpful for some of us, particularly in the chord noodling, but even so; you had me playing a recognizable version of this with in 20 minutes. Take my money.
Thanks a lot for your lessons mate! :) I really cant begin to stress how much I appreciate it. Also, it's very relaxing to finally find a online guitar teacher that is actually calm, and relaxed when teaching. Really helps out a lot, no doubt! Keep doing your thing Mr Online Guitar Sage man, and I wish you all the best from Sweden. Cheers !

Ahhh thank you!!! Just starting with guitars, my dad is helpin me but I'm at my moms a lot. I learned closing time by semi sonic and disarm by smashing pumpkins. Lookin for some easy jams and this definitely helped! Thank you!!!
Another great lesson sage, learnt so much off you over past 4 odd years. Bought your ebook, and would recommend it to any beginner or intimidate guitarist... Would love to see a lesson on solsbury hill, if you ever find time. Addiemac out (pick thrown at screen)....

Great Lesson. I really like that Gibson as well. I've been playing a version of this song for a while now. Usually during the second bar of A minor I have found that it can be nice to hammer and pull on the G note on the high E string. It sort of implies the melody a bit. Now that I've worked in the noodling from this lesson, I think it's sounding great. Thanks for the tips :)
With "Laconia New Hampshire Motorcycle Weekend" coming up.....I'm brushing up...I think I was missing that E to G to A bass run.. Erich Enriched... Thank you Mr. Andreas. 5 Stars! --Van

You have talent for guitar, and you could be a great teacher. You glossed over something important to me. There are 100s if not thousands of other similar channels. I won't be visiting yours again. it's kinda dumb, cause I'm boycotting you over 3 or 4 notes... but I am a perfectionist.

Awesome video yourguitarsage I'm a beginner I've gotten pretty comfortable with handling the guitar and slides and stuff like that I just never got around to learning chords I know most of the notes up to the 9th fret, any tips on where I should start for learning the chords
