The story drew from the real-life case of Dennis O'Neill, who died after he and his brother Terence suffered extreme abuse while in the foster care of a Shropshire farmer and his wife in 1945.

I normally don't listen to mysteries read by women. They can't do male voices very well, and I find it disconcerting. But this was well done. Thank you!

I can't listen to the loud intakes of breath.
I dont like the breathy voice either. Sounds like a comedy flirt.
The mic wasn't protected well by a buffer. Too bad, really. Otherwise, it's an excellent reading.
