To those upset because this story is not written by Agatha Christie, please at least do a quick Google search. This story is one of a volume of twelve new stories written as an homage to Agatha Christie similar to the new Sherlock Holmes stories recently appearing as the copyrights expire. It's not exactly fan fiction since the "fans" are well known writers. Personally I'm not happy about that either since the voice is definitely different.

She, as an author in her own right, was invited to write a story featuring Miss Marple in a collection of 12 Miss Marple stories, each by a different author. Delightful idea I thought. In my opinion Ms Foley captured perfectly the pettiness so often portrayed by Agatha Christie. (The collection was approved and announced so not a surprise to any Christie family representative.)
