Can you believe Huge Fraser's Poirot? Masterful. What a marvelous voice actor he is. I very much enjoyed this performance by Fraser and once again Agatha Christie catches me off guard with that surprise ending. Bravo!!! Bravo!!! Bravo!!!
Hugh Fraser reads so wonderfully and portrays the characters so effectively that I forget that it’s just him! And ditto on RUclips premium - I watch/listen to RUclips throughout the day even when I am driving. It’s completely worth the monthly 18.99 fee.
This was, and I heard M. Poirot's voice saying, a brilliant little story that got right to the point! Mr. Fraser's voice is so wonderful here. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for listening, have you seen Agatha Christie Audio books Read By Hugh Fraser playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLlfrwm-GFKKfYCzfT8JLBxNpbgLpbjpUv
OMG how marvelously Hugh imitates women ,specially snobbish ones !! and David Suchet too!! I think this story same as "Evil under the sun" do not like any one reading Christie's books other than David Suchet Actor specially Poirot
Just love Hugh Fraser. Will listen to anything with him narrating. I do not get any ads. You Tube Premium. Totally worth it. If you havent got it , shut up moaning.
Beautifully read, as Hugh Fraser's readings of Agatha Christie always are. The haunting and sensitive music that followed the audiobook was excellently chosen: it brought home that if this were real life, this story would be a human tragedy (*spoiler alert*!) of an honest man framed by the wife whom he trusted. The music added emotional depth to an intellectual puzzle - are we allowed to ask what the melody is, and by whom?

If I didn’t have Premium I wouldn’t bother to listen to free RUclips. I can’t believe the number of adds you have to endure! Premium RUclips is totally worth it to me.
Very entertaining. As usual I was totally wrong about whodunnit, thank goodness I didn't want to be a detective 😊 Thanks for posting. p.s. someone must have taken the complaints about adverts seriously - I only had two!
Why don’t you folks shut up about the commercials. Pay for premium and you get …. ZERO. If commercial-free isn’t worth that for you then I don’t know what to tell you.
You do know what's going on in the UK? How our Marxist government is having us over, especially the elderly, we can't all afford what you obviously can.
I’m sure no one minds a few ads but I counted one every 4 to 6 minutes which is rather excessive and spoils the artistic flow of the tale. Agatha Christie might have had a less favourable view of that on her artistic integrity.
Thanks for listening, I don't have any control over the volume of Ad's, Have you tried maybe clearing your browser cache and cookies might help reduce the volume of ads on RUclips you get (these follow you around the internet) just a tip! and thanks again for having a listen though

Easy_peasy, then. Many of us have been doing the same, but can we all do the voice? @@hissykittycat

I agree. It’s worth it for Fraser! Not everyone can afford to have the ads eliminated! Some of us are very, very old!!!
You’re right. I’m going “premium”. What am I saving it for anyway?

Do NOT waste your time: it's a vessel for ads with a little breaks for the actual story.
DO NOT RECOMMEND

Only 2 ads, seems normal to me.
