More of a question than a thought.
Do you think or was it hinted at, that there will be a Software Update to V2H, because the EV6 does have a bidirectional Inverter, so it could theoretically be possible.

Man this thing looks cool both inside and out, never though I would say that about an SUV/crossover. Also appreciate the physical buttons and the knob for temperature control (rest of climate is soft touch, can't have it all i guess). Still as AWD its quite a bit more expensive than a model 3 LR and probably less efficient. Until 800V chargers become much more common here, the logical choice for a primary/road-trip capable car is the model 3/Y. But damn if I would buy a sub 600k Nok. EV right now, with my heart instead of my brain, this KIA is it. Even though its an SUV/crossover.

Big wheels are usually rubbish for the range.
The rear spoiler is (if designed correct) for keeping muck of the rear window.

For their first foray to brand-new EV using dedicated platform, Kia definitely want something that has real presence, hence the EV6 plus it's the hotly contested segment atm with entry like ID4, Mach E and ofc Model Y, not to mention Toyota also will join the party in this very same segment next year, so it's no surprise these carmakers carmakers want a piece from this segment pie. I was worried about this when hiring a Model 3 Performance (0-60 in 3.1s). But it's very, very stable and controllable even accelerating as fast as it'll go, thanks to the much lower centre of gravity compared with an ICE car. You get very used to it quite quickly, but your passengers don't and prefer to be warned...

Charge cards and phone apps are utter garbage and shouldn’t exist. EV makers need to sign individual deals with charger networks and technologically work it out for plug and go charging. They should have price-per-Kw on signs like in petrol/gas stations written where people can see and subscriptions can get bent.

Responsive screen? So why almost a second delay when you push something or move on the map?
This isn't the first time I see a car journalist talk about how responsive a screen is, to then see with my own eyes how slow it is (thinking about VW ID's)
When ID's got into the hands of customers, nobody was saying the screen was responsive, those you heard/are hearing were/are complaining about how slow they are...
I would also add that 12" screens are NOT massive at all, if I'm spending 20 minutes at a charger I would prefer a screen I can watch something on, while leaning way back. I would like the screen to be either on a swivel or centered so that a passenger(s) can also enjoy the entertainment. 2 x 12" are not as good as 1 15" screen IMO.

To date, I still think that Tesla got the charging port/flap SO RIGHT from the very start with the Model S !! Their flap is just the right size( not overly big) and totally invisible(as part of the rear taillight cluster) when not in use. It really is PERFECTION !! I just don’t understand why most other EV makers don’t copy it ?? Yes, I know they could be seen as copy-cat designers - but, hey, when something works SO brilliantly, just get over the “corporate” ego !!

I personally don’t like i5 design but love this Kia. I totally disagree about the giant fashion wheels, they look like they belong on a clown car, they ruin the ride, the tyres offer almost no protection to the rims on our pot hole covered roads, the rubber band tyres are easily damaged / destroyed just by mounting a kerb and they cost a fortune to replace. I would pay Tesla money to downgrade the 20s on my model 3 to 18’s on the options list.

Hard disagree on the talking point about wheel size at about 6:45. If anything, wheel size should become smaller. An EV doesn't need 19, 20 or even 21 inch wheels. The bigger the wheel, the more you compromise ride quality and worsen the aerodynamics. Besides, EVs don't need to have such massive wheels to fit the brakes since the brakes are smaller compared to an ICE thanks to the electric motor taking over some of the braking job and recuperating energy in the process.
Car manufacturers, make smaller wheels! A good example is the Mercedes EQS. Small wheels don't have to look bad
