Some of those 2013 events seem like 07-08, especially Mr Epic Mann. I associated him with early days RUclips for some reason, 8 years ago seems relatively recent
so like most situations, companies buy small RUclips channels that are becoming viral and then it fails cause the creator now has to work for their own channel as they sold it, it would have been good to see how well the channel performed if it wasn't purchased
Aw even though they didn't get to keep the channel going they still got a happy ending. It's news like that that makes this scenario so much better considering we often don't know where people disappear off to. Great video as always!
This is a prime example of why content creators should re-think before signing anything with an MCN. These greedy corporations promise more views and subs, but at the end of the day, they only care about lining their pockets and take creative control. This was a great mini-documentary explaining what happened to the channel and Nick and Ian themselves. One thing to add is the other two who frequently appeared on the channel, Jack Daniel Mentzer and Andrew Eckhoff. For Andrew, it seems he is still involved with cinematography. He works for a company called Eagle Wing Video Productions and does both professional videos and photos. As for Jack, it's a little bit unknown what he's up to now. All that can be said is that he was dabbling a bit in rapping. Although a quick google search suggests he still does make films in some fashion. It's sad to know how a great channel has fallen from grace due to greed from Fullscreen, but maybe hopefully someday the original cast might have a reunion.
Scratch not knowing what Jack is doing. After a little bit more digging, he does a movie review podcast called the John Candy And Rick Moranis Podcast. Apparently, he and Andrew ran the podcast together before they both parted ways.

I could write a book on the prank genre. Ive followed it since vitaly and lahwf came onto the scene in 2012. Here are some specific moments worth mentioning 1) speaking of vitaly, danny duncan was actually the first prankster to climb the hollywood sign. This shows that vitalys grip on the youtube game was fading away and the trend setter had become the trend follower. (There have been a few exchanges back and forth between vitaly and danny duncan from years ago. Danny has openly said on videos that he would fight vitaly/fousey when commenting on fights.
