Holy cow; The East Side Club. I played there about 3 months after this show with my DC based band. What a completely awful part of town. Totally deserted hell-scape of vacant lots, warehouses and abandoned houses. Ahh, good times.

I think I recall the same - scary, figures half-hidden in shadowy doorways of abandoned buildings - definitely one of the scarier areas we drove visited & played...
