Idea for fey wild invert rolls so you want to roll low for checks
TheGentlemans Gambit Good idea!
Oh, I'm definitely using this
David Bowie was most certainly a Feywild creature.
Must have rolled a 20 on life when I found this channel
Traditionally, the Fey are exceptionally bound to their word. Where they'll almost always get you is in the spirit of any agreement you might make with them. Think long and hard before agreeing to anything with a Fey of any sort.
Kingdom of amalur game with a lot of fey influence in their forests
First off, love every one of these videos. I really respect your guys’ outlook on everything you have talked about. That being said, I have an RP question. I am getting ready to play a half elf Ranger (from the PHB, thanks for that input). He was a guide for those at a Fey crossing. I took Fey as FE and forests as FT. What is your take on how someone who constantly dealt with the Fey and the Feywild would act? The purpose of the guide was to ensure that the groups didn’t end up in the Feywild or get lost if they did etc etc. thanks again and keep the videos coming. You guys are crushing it!
This is probably a good conversation to have with your DM. you guys should establish some key "rules" for avoiding the fey in your campaign setting. Maybe " only a fool wanders the woods on a moonless night" or "never pass between 2 stones at twilight". Now just an FYI, there is a ranger subclass in Xanathar's guide that specializes in planar travel called the Horizon Walker you may want to look at.
Gotta love the shoutout to Clive Barker's Abarat on this one.
If David Bowie was an Archfey what would his stats be?
Inquisitor Thomas, Idk stats but he may be a baelnorn.
Inquisitor Thomas his charisma would be a 30.
Well. Now I have to make a bardlock whos patron is David Bowie.
Yay I can't wait to explore the feywild with a behemoth barbarian!
I have an idea for a one-shot called "Prince Oberon's Garden," in which the party has stumbled into the titular demiplane, and overall objective is just to get out alive. The sad thing is that I've never done homebrew.
ah changelings and faerie circles i love irish lore
Buying the Kingkiller Chronicles, if you say it's your favorite it's probably going to be good
White Wolf/ World of Darkness: Changeling the Lost, ..
full of fun ideals.
Awesome! Love Mom
Some of my unseelie courtiers have been. Red caps, quicklings, hags, boggles, darklings, ruin chanters, maybe a leshay or a protean scourge.
I’ve been working on a campaign with my friends and thanks to you guys I don’t feel like a total noob dm
Dope episode man! Thanks for the shoutout. Keep these comin dudes. You should make an episode on what to keep in mind when making and playing a character!
NAME OF THE WIND REFERENCE FOR THE WIN!
REP PATRICK ROTHFUSS
Been going through your videos from the start of the podcast and so you might have covered this in a future episode that I have not reached yet but could you guys do a video about the creatures with Fey ancestry? Where did they branch, what separates them from their ancestors and in what ways are they less, or more, powerful?
In my homebrew game, the bard skipped months on a distortion roll. He vanished in game, and the rest of the party did a bunch of prep stuff waiting for him
If the entire Feywild somewhat mirrors the existing world.. does that mean the Fey version of Kara-Tur is like Gensokoyo from Touhou?..
Hey guys love the show!
I was wondering about the time change between the planes that y'all brought up. How would aging work? Is it like the Chronicles of Narnia where they would age in the Feywild but return to the same age as when they left once they return?
Your DM can decide based on narrative drama or maybe make up a random table with different time effects that you roll on if the party fails their save or something.
Yeah , there's a table in dmg
Feywild 100%
So the fey wild is like if you tried making a doctor Seuss campaign setting for adults or wonderland from Alice in wonderland
Do you know any podcasts with the feywild? For me it's pretty rare to find d&d content using this cool place.
You said Titania and Oberon and my head went straight to Warframe.
You guys should read The Cold Fire Trilogy. I think there is potential for the author’s Fey in DnD.
I know the Prime Material Plane is where nearly everything happens campaign wise in d&d, but would you be open to making a Planes and Places video about the Prime Material Plane as a realm? I don't think most people really know the planar lore for the PMP, nor understand the significance of their everyday world in that regard.
Elves of athas return as their world is destroyed.
I'm late to the game but it would be a blast to play a satyr party that is based like the american pie movies in the feywild 😂🤣
There is an Archfey known only as Tina :)
5 years Marty lolol
Couldn't quite hear the title of the book series mentioned around 36 minutes in. Anyone know how to spell it?
Its the Abarat Series by Clive Barker! www.clivebarker.info/youngabarat.html
Thanks!
I've been binging this for a few days now. Totally love it. Really wish I could listen with my 6 year old..he'd love it...but the swearing, dudes...you could totally drop it..it doesn't add anything.
Well i took your advice and found PR to be an incredibly mid writer. He writes like hes huffing a continual supply of his own farts.
