One thing I don't see people doing nearly enough is focusing prio targets enough, nearly every class in the game has some sort of prio damage, fury and arms can tunnel down a single target and aoe the rest as a result, Outlaw and Sub rogue have insane prio or funnel in the case of Sub, every ret builder ability deals more damage to your main target than it does to the rest, etc. Even if you want to see big overall numbers at least make sure your main target is the most dangerous mob in the pack, every time you finish a pack where the "big guy" is still at 50% while all other mobs are dead you're losing time and being extremely inneficient!
It's so frustrating when DPS won't wait just a moment with dealing damage. First pull of Everbloom is a prime example. Let your tank body pull the first 3 mobs and run down to the next pack. No one needs to get off their mounts boys.
Great video once more. Hearing that "the best melee to play with are the healer brain like" made my day. I'm a ret paladin climbing solo (entering the 25+ key range) and I am a former healer. I'm happy to loose some damage to help my healer keeping people alive to time the key. And I love saving people with my lay on hand clutch
One big thing i do every season is playing all 3 roles, one of them is my main and others twink sitting around 2-2.5k rio. It gives alot more insight of how stuff works from other perspectives and make it easier to adapt imo. Helped me alot over the years. And yes the aggro on pulls is a thing for me as enhance main aswell. I just randomly blast out a huge AoE or ST and if im too fast i generate aggro and the trash or boss sends me into another universe. I adapted it mostly but sometimes tunnelvision kicks in as usual on melees, the Zug is too hard.
Agree❤ When i had time to play the game i did just that Play a couple meta dps mainly melee but atleast also 1 ranged 1 healer or multiple A tank or multiple (mains off specc often) I did the same in arena
1st Boss wcm you dont kick inactive witches. Firstly they do Almost zero dmg (3k on 27 tyrannical) and secondly they are sometimes bugged and melee a random melee for about 600k (again on 27 tyra)
asking pugs dps to not be greedy is almost like asking trees to not drop their leaves...it's in their nature to I've seen it 1000 times dps pugs 20s+ keys will be greed stand in bad or cause the healer to stress out a lot more!!!! just to not care?? and if the healer cannot keep them and the group alive then they say somthing along the lines of" healers sucks/noob/trolling" then leaves the key just to join another key to do it again unless blizzard put some kind of punishment for blatantly trolling/leavening keys this will never change!!!
Pug pushing gets super time consuming after 25s, there is only like 4 to 5 keys at any time, sometimes all the same key 😂. You need a consistent group to take the queue times out of them equation, and It's really hard to build a good comp, some Specs are borderline unplayable.
A kick is an ability that does not have a primary cc effect (root, stun, disorient, etc), but DOES interrupt spellcasting, and will lock the target out of casting that spellschool for a few seconds. Rogue's kick, mage's counterspell, or paladin's rebuke, for example. A stop is a form of hard cc that will stop a cast, but the mob will be able to cast again as soon as the CC breaks. Blind, blast wave/dragon's breath, chaos nova, wing buffet, or other similar spells are AOE stops, and kidney shot/cheap shot, HOJ, or mortal coil would be examples of single target stops.
I'm not sure if this is what he meant, but it could be that a kick is simply an interrupt to the cast, but a stop is more like a stun where the mob is unable to move or do anything for X seconds.
as WW, when tanks are grouping after 5 seconds of waiting, tiger palm still pulls aggro. Specially with bear tanks. Ive even waited as long as 10s for a pull to start dpsing and when I use xuen, i still pull aggro.
Obviously there are things tanks can do wrong if their AoE dmg rotation isn't solid but I'd recommend tracking your tanks primary target and making sure you open on that mob first. Chances are they have the most threat built up on their primary target where a TP or RSK. Unfortunately things like Warrior, WW, Ret Pally all have issues with burst dmg grabbing immediate threat.
not sure if thats the case but in shadowlands havoc dhs immolation aura had the tank aggro modifier. so the dps immo aura would pull aggro like a tank one. maybe there is something wrong with ww.
@@huskerdee1431usually your DBM/bigwigs will shout at you to “interrupt “ or “dispel” (enrage ,buffs etc ) when you have them available. Sometimes it tells you to use your “stop” ability indirectly as well whenever a major ability is being cast and you don’t have your kick.
I love your videos! I could learn a few new things from you and did get some "yes I did it right" moments as well. Thanks and be safe! Every time good loot
everbloom is 99% not being greedy. thats just zugzugbrain going on target without knowing or looking around what happens or even knowing what the bossskill does
If you're a dps and can't stop attacking for 2 seconds to benefit the group and the run, I don't care how high that key is you're a terrible player lmao
Yes but the biggest problems I find are that firstly I can't get into groups unless I am already geared higher than the content I want to do, second all the guilds are either full or not doing the content because u can just pug it instead, and finally if you make a mistake while learning the content I either get attacked with caps lock telling me to delete the game or just kicked without anybody saying anything. How about we talk about that in one of your videos skill capped? The real issues huh?

This is a great point and we even noticed this a lot too when analyzing low/mid keys. Could possibly be a video by itself.
10:13 playing with a healer like brain is also just a lot more fun than just blasting. Feels good having impact
"Stability is more important than damage" --> this should basically be the mantra for every dd that wants to climb up keys and improve M+ performance.

Even wog is amazing in pve, you can heal someone to full health from 20% to bad it’s useless in PvP and should be removed from your bar

Putting Bajheera the PvPer on blast in EB 🤣
This may be a noob question, but can you go over the difference between a "kick" and a "stop." is one better in certain situations than the other?

I have the “announceinterrupts” add on for my warlock but it never reminds me to interrupt, I have to pay attention still haha
Announce interrupts is a addon that says in chat what you have interrupted and not when you need to 😅

The stone flame on irridikron 😂
Need this warriors plater if some1 can share
Buy a guide to get 500 io score or do each key on 13 for 2 different affix weeks to get over 2k io score hmmm think I'll keep my cash
thatnks for the vids i like them much 😊
and everyone does it and i mean everyone so don't kid yourself.those meters matter.
this is cool but the people making these mistakes ain't trying to get better. They're screeching at people and bricking keys
Bajheera being flamed hahahaha
"guarantee 500 IO" bro u know how easy it is? unless you mean 3200 IO onwards 😂

Is it that hard for skillcapped to prerecord decent fake gaming footage? Dude is mashing movement keys like his character has tourettes lel
