I agree this and running round doing all different expressions to npcs seeing how they react. And also the choices in the game that actually effect the world is what makes fable.
No grind. At the beginning of the game, start off buying the wagons in the gypsy camp, one by one. The revenue will give you the money to buy merchant stalls in the bowerstone marketplace. That revenue will get you the houses. I set everyone's rent to 0, and ships at -60% and still have 4-5 million before the game is finished.
I remember buying the castle and was so disappointed 😂. By the way i like the way you're hero looks mine was kind of....morally ambiguous so I didn't get the blue hue.
Thats some weaksauce shit, the butler resigns cuz of one attack, and you, the player are literally the most powerful person in all of the game so he is actually making his life MORE dangerous by quitting lmfao rofl
The housing mechanic in this game needs to carry over to others. Made it so enjoyable and ultimately one of my favorite games ever.
Agreed!

I was pissed when I first bought it. Cause I wasn’t worried about money all throughout the game. Now I gotta scrounge a milly- FOR A HALLWAY
Loool, such a grind to get the money and underwhelming in the end

“The castle seems to be under attack”
“WAH?!” 😂😂 honestly was my first reaction too lmao
It’s the only appropriate response 😂
the grind is easy just buy and rent out all houses you can get. Then leave the game 12 hours open and voila 1 milli in the bank
I never bought this place, so this playthough im buying it just off the principle of it, cuz i already own sixteen properties before oakville
I feel that, May aswell 🤙

Even tho I enjoyed the little mission it’s definitely underwhelming in the end, especially for the price!
