So happy that you include our place Hellesylt😍😍
Hellesylt was magnificent. Where was your place?
I live in hellesylt
Wunderschönes Video❤
Danke
Im September sind wir auf dem Schiff freue mich schon
Hab eine schöne Reise!
I will go in august 2024 from 17 to 24. WoW
Have fun!
We are going in 2 weeks, on the same ship and we can’t wait 🚢
Hope you enjoy the cruise. Feel free to ask any questions that may come up.
Did you go how was that ? How much money did you spend on tours in total?
Already booked for 2025
Super!
We have been on a lot of MSC ships but never tried the Euribia. Great video👍
Thanks for watching!
The ship is brand new since 8 June!!😊. I was on it from 8 july till 15 july also visiting Denmark and Norway. Copenhagen is a very beautiful city! We had 25 for visiting Copenhagen on 9th july.
@@christinescheepmans7693 That sounds awesome. We are planning to take a more extended trip on it next year. Seven days goes too fast. 😁
Will be cruising on this ship in November to Northern Europe. I cruised on MSC Seaside in March to the Caribbean.
I love their ships.❤❤
Nosotros vamos a subir en el barco el 9 de septiembre y me hace mucha ilusión,
It is a beautiful ship that I know you will enjoy it. Safe travels. Have a thankful journey.
It is approximately 15 minutes from the ship and around 418 steps to the top. You can take the small tourist train that is at the cruise port. It was 20 euro per person. The walk-up is relatively easy, and there are plenty of spots to stop and catch your breath should you need it.
Worthwhile doing, though, and a sense of achievement when you get to the top.
@@thankfuljourneys merci bcp 👍
I dream of doing this specific cruise. When I have the money for it and if I'm able to take days off at that period I'll probably do it on a September so the prices are not too high and the ship probably won't be as crowded as in the Summer.
Hi Jujublue, thank you for watching and subscribing. We use cruisemapper.com to check on yearly itineraries and prices.
Hi we want your advice for hellesylt excursions. Did you take the euribia excursion to Geiranger fjord
Thanks for the question. No we didn't take any excursions because the Euribia went through the Geiranger fjord the next morning. It turned around just past the Seven Sister waterfall.
Nice
Thanks
I will be on MSC Euribia on Sunday and I’m super excited🤩 How was the weather conditions and what do you recommend me to bring with me? I’m from Cyprus and as an islander I’m not used to extreme cold weather🥹 Lastly, do I need to pay for playing bowling or trying the Arcade games?
We had perfect weather in June for the entire trip. The coldest day was June 13th in in Hellesylt 6c min and 16c max. The sun was out so it felt great to us. Yes, you may want to buy the arcade pass before the trip to save a little. I did not play the games so I don't know the individual cost.
Maybe someone else here can give some insight on the game cost?
@@thankfuljourneys thanks a lot!🫶
Great video! We are booked on the same cruise & itinerary next month. Any recommendations on shore excursions?
Thank you! We didn't book any excursions with the ship. All the ports were easy to walk.
@@thankfuljourneys I’m leaning that way too. I need to study the excursions - expensive and take up most of your port time. Thanks
Are you joining the week of 17th-24th?
When was you on board ? i was on board 10 -17 june ,we had fantastic weather and a brilliant time.
We were on the same cruise and it was the perfect weather for Northern Europe. This was one our favorite cruise itineraries of all time.
We are going to Iceland with msc prziosa from Kiel in August which is the best and best to get on board
Hi, I think I have answered your question in another post but this video may help with getting onboard.
ruclips.net/video/G2Yk0ITUTXo/видео.html
Nice vidéo and nice ship.
How to get to the terminal MSC Euribia in Copenhague ? By taxi or metro ?
We embarked in Kiel so we didn't experience the Terminal. We did visit Copenhagen as a port and the terminal area is very remote so we took an MSC shuttle excursion to the center of town. The cost was around 17 euro each for a round trip. If you are embarking in Copenhagen you will probably need to arrange a MSC shuttle or take a taxi. Hope this helps.
@@thankfuljourneys thks a lot 👍☀️🥳
The itinenerary shows Hellesylt and Geiranger on the same day. Did you stop briefly at Hellesylt then sail to Geiranger?
Yes and after Hellesylt the ship went further in and made the turn at the Sisters Waterfall on the same day.
We are going to to Iceland with msc preziosa in August the easy est to get on board
Iceland is next on our list! We made videos on the Preziosa, and it's a fantastic ship. We also made a transfer video sharing our port transportation experience.

Enjoy your trip!
i'm going May 2024...just booked it
Have fun!
How to booking online
Great video, but I have a question or two. Did you booked any excursions through the cruise line? Some people said you do not need an excursion in Alesund, did you book one? We are thinking of booking on the same ship at the end of September. Which month did you go?
No, we didn't book any excursions with the cruise line. Alesund is easy to explore from the port. We may book an excursion the next time we go so we can venture out further. Our trip was in June of 2023.
@@thankfuljourneys Thank you. We heard from many RUclipsrs that the Geirangerfjord and Naeroyfjord will be close starting 2026 so that is why we decided to do this Sept before everyone is going there next year. In Alesund, we did book the Trollstigen Tour since we can see Alesund quickly.
@@NLMusique We didn't know they may be closing the two fjords. Thanks for the info.
Perfect ‼️ How much money did you spend on tours in total?
We didn't spend anything on the ship's excursion tours. All the ports were accessible and walkable. We usually enjoy self-guided trips using local transportation. It takes a bit of research but is worth the savings. We also make sure we are back two hours before departure.
@@thankfuljourneys Thank you so much 👍🏻
We are going in 4 Weeks🎉🎉
Have fun!
Did you take the ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger
The video was taken from the Euribia deck as it went through the Geiranger fjord.
@@thankfuljourneys so the euribia goes to Geiranger fjord i didn't know it just passing or stops also
What time of year was this filmed pelase?
June. I have the date and temperature at the bottom of the left corner of the video.
How full was the ship guys?
We were onboard on June 10th for the inaugural cruise and believe it was sold out.
@@thankfuljourneys did it feel overcrowded? Big queues etc?
@@garyatkinson5699 The embarking was very easy for us with no lines. It wasn't until the following day, during breakfast in the Marketplace, then we realized how full it was. There wasn't a table anywhere to be found, and we circled until our food was cold. That's when we learned our lesson by going early on sea days and waiting later on port days to avoid the peak times. The rest of the ship did not feel full because of the different venues to hang out in. I loved the feeling of being the only person on the ship because everyone else was sleeping or out on the port.
@@thankfuljourneys where bars busy on an evening, get served ok et?
I was there and it was horrible on board. Very full, the stuff is overwhelmed. The Jacuzzis are full, gym also full so you have to wait in line to come in. Buffet Restaurant a catastrophe.
Unfortunately, ships this size with a passenger capacity of over 6000 can be overwhelming. We noticed the same thing in the Market Place on the first day, so we decided not to go during peak times and found it much more accommodating. We prefer smaller ships for the same reasons. The itinerary is what made this trip special for us.
Thank you for watching, and please subscribe to help us reach our goal of 5000 subs.😀
Worth yacht club ?
Yes, but not at there full price. Look for deals.
