    Hi Mayur Sir, Thank you for this video its informative. I'm from Chennai, i've lost few Sea Angel Fishes after routine water change due to Cold Winter. I'm too fond of Angel Fishes, as you mentioned i'm going for a quality heater now for them and going to make use of it. For Certain fishes, the water condition seems to be mandate such as Angel's.
    Whereas My Parrot's, Shark's, Tetra's and Betta didn't had any problem. I learnt this in hard way, but its a good lesson to keep up.

    Hi Mr. Mayur! I need suggestion from you for aquarium heater. I am from Delhi and I have 5ft freshwater aquarium. The aquarium is feed by sunsun DY 50 air pump and total 100 watt full spectrum LED light. I also have a chiller installed and set at 26°C. I have noticed now a days that with surrounding temperature going down as winter starts and my chiller is off, the water temperature in the tank rises from 26 to 28°+ and I had to keep the chiller on again to maintain at 26. I monitored that temperature during the night with chiller and lights off and the temperaturel remains at 27+. I noticed that air from the pump is also hot and lights may be adding to the temperature rise during the day. So in this scenario shall I install heater now in the tank or wait. I am not sure what to do next so please help.

    Hi Mayur Sir - I have a 1ft cube with 2 goldfishes today. In another 2-3 months, I am planning to upgrade to a 2.5-3ft long, 1.5 ft high, 1ft breadth tank. I understand you mentioned about keeping goldfishes at 28 degree celsius. Please recommend a heater I can get now (wattage, may be length also) so that I can use immediately as well as in the future tank upon upgradation. Many folks in Bangalore said goldies dont require heater. So I am bit confused. Please help me out here. Thanks!

    I wish I watched your video earlier. The shopkeeper gave me a 300w water thermostat , for a small set up like mine 50w was enough. Living in Hyderabad , was facing issues with fish dying. I did 2 small changes one installed a thermostat and set it at 26' and second put a decholorine agent in my water even after I kept a bucket out for 24 hours . I am seeing a different energy in my fish. FINGERS crossed

    Hi Mayur Ji ,
    My question is different from the topic , actually my fish aquarium is entirely covered with some harmful bacteria (parasites) for which I have been using salt for treatment . But my every fish becomes sick after 2-3 days automatically . Just wanted to reveal some of my mistakes that before one month I have acclimated some sharks without quarantine . I believe, this is the only reason from where the parasites entered in my display tank . I have seen your zero cost medicine video and applying the same to my tank but still they exist . I'm planning to use Praziquantel antibiotic in my tank because I heard that this is the effective medicine which will not kill the beneficial bacteria from your filter .
    Kindly advise your suggestion on this on a brief note pls

    • @MayurDevAquascaper
      @MayurDevAquascaper  3 года назад +1

      Praziquentel is for deworming, It will not kill the external parasite, these are known as Fish Lice, there are better medicines for this, please check online

And if anyone buys new heater rs or sobo use it in a bucket filled with water and check temperature for 10-12 days..even if it is defective and going to get cracked one will be saving his fish by using this technique..

    Sir I have a 5x2x1 ft tank with plants. I have used river sand brought by me from MP (Narmada River) . A black substance form on the leaves of plants it can be removed by soft tooth brush. I tried less light, more light, chenge dose of fertilizer but the problem persists.

    Right now it's cold in Mumbai about 17 Degrees, my new baby Geophagus is not eating and now sitting at the bottom of the tank at times. Now I am seeing some white excreta as well.
    I tried Epsom salt bath and Rid all General Aid treatment and also tried mixing garlic juice in their feed. I am suspecting stress issues or internal parasite so I am thinking of treating the fish with Stress Heal, Worm Out and Worm-Bac of Aquatic Remedies Company and as the temp is below required levels which is further affecting my fish's appetite now I am setting up a heater too.
    What do you think and suggest with your experience and knowledge?
