- April 18, 2010 - Do we have the moral courage like Daniel to see our part in what has become a spiritual landslide in this generation? We must go into the prayer closet and allow the Holy Spirit to show us where we neglected to do what God has called us to do. Our cry must be, “How can my life bring glory to God?” We must turn away from everything that hinders us from glorifying God. The key to get out of our struggle is total surrender to the will of God! When we stretch out our hands to His will, God will do something supernatural in us and through us.
at this time . 2020 i was led to read ch 7 thru 9 and confess the sins of those scriptures ,,, NO EXCUSES NOR JUSTIFYING ! WE HAVE SINNED AND NOT DONE WHAT WE KNEW OR CONTINUED IN YOUR WAYS DAILY ,, ITS AWFUL HOW WE DELAYED AND DEFIED ,,, I REPENT OPENLY NOW as witness that i need the LORD ,, as i pray reveal how to glorify thy NAME ,,, JESUS HELP US ,

Is stretching hands towards other in prayer scriptural ?
I am asking this to learn, at churches I seen this like the people have superpowers while chanting jibberish. Not tounges Acts chapter 2, and no interpretation in the church, if this edifys the church it only edifys the people not God or the one being prayed for, it's creepy! How do I know they are sincere and what is prayed and to whom do they pray? This charasmatic movement has gotten Christian's acting weird barking, purring, howling, running, distracting the word of God from going forth! God is not a author of confusion, or disorder!

Where is it in the Bible then? About stretching out hands in prayer for people?
I just did a search the only scriptures on hands lifted up are all towards heaven in prayer and worship to God. Not prayer for people. My question was about holding out hands in prayer for people? I have seen scripture where christ Jesus blessed people with holding forth his hand. The practice of stretching forth hands seems strange. I was asking for scripture reference for this act.
