- The 10316 is the undisputed number 1 in this year's Lego collection, so I decided to make an edited version of my first RUclips video of this beauty. Have fun.

When I said the expansion consists out of two 10316 sets I was referring to the entire display.
If you only want to build the expansion you will only need 1x 10316 + 1180 pieces.
Sorry for the confusion.
may i ask if the + 1180 pieces is in the 10316 set ? let's say if i buy 3x10316, will i get all parts that i need ?
I doubt it but you would get very close. So I just checked with 3x10316 sets you would still need 489 extra pieces.
Thank you for posting another version of this Expansion build. I appreciate the extra detail you provided in this vid. I now have all the parts needed, plus a bunch of extra LOTR minifigs, and even printed tiles to replace the stickered pieces. I just need to find the time to build it, lol. I’m enjoying watching your channel grow, and I appreciate that you do English versions of your videos because my German is really bad, lol. Cheers to you!

No in total you will need 2x10316 and 1180 extra pieces !

Amazing set! What are the dimensions of this beast?
i am wondering if the part list on rebrickable is accurate, because i tried input 2 original rivendell sets but it shows only need 1161 extra parts not 1180, have you experienced any missing parts?

Very nice video and amazing MOC, i keep watching it waiting for mine to arrive. I was wondering if the second gazebo you see at 7:18 can be built with the spare pieces from the second rivendell set, or if you got them by themselves. Thank you anticipately!

Haha I guess you are referring to me saying the “video” didn’t age well as this is my second video of showcasing this magnificent model.My first video showcasing this set is a little outdated and thus didn’t age well. That must be where the confusion is at!
@@Bricklas183 Ohhhhh! No wonder I was confused by that! lol! I have the set, but it is still in the box. I'm not even a huge LOTR fan, but this is easily one of my favorites so I had to get it while it is available.
That looks awesome! How did you purchase two Lego 10316 plus the extra parts for only $490?
He knows a guy who saw these sets fall off a truck ... Bricklas was referring to the expansion only, consisting of one 10316 set plus the extra parts. Still it is a good price. In Europe, Alternate sells 10316 for less than EUR 400.
