The weavers of Ivory Coast - Man, western region

A weaver is a craftsman who weaves various types of yarns into fabrics. In Ivory Coast, in Man we find happy, hard-working and proud weavers who weave every day in a cheerful way to produce traditional quality loincloths. Even if the Ivorian textile industry is in decline, these weavers against all odds do not lose hope and believe in a better future where this new generation will value its locally made products to the end of the world. It is up to us to wear and promote our own clothes made by our weavers and other artisans of the field. It is up to us to raise the economy of the textile industry.
