The strobe and turbo modes can be reversed, I’m sorry I don’t remember exactly how to do it. But you press the button 10 times and hold for a few seconds, I think? Thank you for the review!
I checked the manual and it's not in there. You're comment jogged my memory and I remember @maxlvledc showed how to change this - ruclips.net/video/Nm-wT79eZnU/видео.html If you fast forward to 12 minutes and 20'ish seconds in you can see how to do it. 1. whilst off, hold for a few seconds to engage the lock out mode, 2. press the buttons at least 10 times and hold down on the final press.
Olight offers a good torch for sale...well actually several, I suppose. I presently use their Arkfeld Pro and their Baton 4 Kits. The Arkfeld Pro resides in our travel Tech bag and accompanies us on our roundtrips and is put to use conducting security/safety sweeps of hotel/motel rooms with the UV light function, prior to our claiming occupancy of those rooms. Every Olight I have purchased has impressed me with it's performance. Thanks for another interesting presentatiom.
I take my Arkfeld Pro with me abroad for the same reasons. It's scary how many weird fluids you find spilled onto surfaces and walls. Some times ignorance is bliss 😂😂😂
I really like the new trend of flat flashlights with the comfort and potential in versatility they bring. The only thing that keeps me from getting one so far is the fact that none of these have removable batteries, at least as far as I know. I like to have a spare battery around I can just pop in without relying on a charger/output all the time. Lights with the charging port directly on the battery would also help the waterproofing in most cases. I know, developing a brand new type of battery for everyone to utilize is probably very expensive and not worth it for most companies when they can just build in their own. But I hope with the amount of industries (flashlights, vapes, powerbanks, gun lights/optics) that would profit off of that kind of new battery, somebody in the near future will at least try. Now with that rant out of the way, I'll probably pull the trigger on one of these lights, regardless. So far, my number one pick would be the Nitecore EDC25.
Being limited to having just the one battery which isn't removable is definitely a point many might not be able to get past. There are a few other manufacturers out the that make dual source lights that have both an internal battery and a AA or AAA battery as well, however they don't have the future set this one does. Maybe that's the next step for Olight to try and fix. Thanks for watching GR 👍
I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of this new alloy from Olight. I'm guessing with the amount of research that needs to go into alloys they'll roll it out on all their new lights to help recoup those costs
New sub from North America. Love your content, especially the stuff you do on flashlights. Appreciate it much. I tend to be an Olight guy, but have a small pocket light from Fenix that is rechargeable. That is probably my favorite, but primarily an Olight guy. But am open to learning about other brands. Definitely a pocket knife, flashlight, notebook kind of guy.
Afternoon David, I hope you're well. Thanks for the sub and kind words. It's always great to hear my content is enjoyed. All my best from across the Pond 👍
My airfield pro will light a napkin on fire immediately… it ended up melting the plastic lens I will upgrade to the ultra for the glass 125 degrees on turbo

NOOOOOOOOO! SERIOUSLY? How did I miss that? I'm going to pin this comment as it's super useful. Thanks for the heads up

@@MoorlanderEDC I hope that I helped a little bit, it seems much easier to double click for turbo, like every other Olight.
@@w.h.p.3430 oh massive. Really appreciate the heads up. My Ultra now works as expected 👍
@@MoorlanderEDC That’s awesome!
Great video. You helped me make my decision. Have ordered the Olight Arkfeld Ultra. Thanks !
You're more than welcome Peter. Glad to hear I helped
I have been EDCing the Olight Arkfeld for a long time. My favourite flashlight by far.
Totally agree. It's clear why so many companies are following in it's foot steps and creating similar lights

I think the pro has a platic lens and the ultra is glass? I bought the ultra and it's awesome 👌

I hope they bring out more of their torches in this new material 😍

Evening dude.
Not related to the flashlight, but can you confirm details for the shirt u have on in this vid? Merci!
Ah, bonjour mon ami. Mais oui, that is the Nosilife shirt from Graghopper. Amazing shirt. It's very light and easy
You didn’t mention the option of NW or CW and the differences.
