Wow you really break it down so well. I have been struggling to get Turkish split and watching all sorts of videos and I finally see slowly how you get that sound. Thank you!!
Well, I'm surprised that this turned out to be the most important Darbuka Doumbek instructional video I have ever seen! I wasn't snapping my fingers on the drum while doing rolls in this manner. This is why I was not getting the volume I needed to sound like this!
She has revolutionized my Darbuka Doumbek playing!!
Thanks!

Thank you Raquy for taking your time to teach us some thing that some us never knew how to play before.. I wish some day I can be as skillful as you. You make it sound very exotic, and interesting.
She is the IP man of Djembe. She's so awesome. Make's everyone around her make them look like they're trying too hard. And not to mention her spirit is great.
I hate to break it to you but that's not a djembe...
haha i figured that out later
This is very cool, I didn't know these types of drums actually had so much technique
Very good very very excellent

Best Lady darbuka player! Do you speak russian, dear Raquy?
Hello , is it continued in other videos?
😮😮😮😮😮
Where you get the drum ?
okay'Raquy
You are beautiful
you have long fingers
this is an arabic instrument , we don't have paradiddles . that's for marching bands ,
you might wanna leran before trying to teach
how do you call it?
The British invasion happened when English people tried to play American R&B and Rock and Roll, and got it slightly wrong, thus acccidentally creating a new style of music. Consistancy is the last refuge of the unimaginative.
you're so right she should... leran.
sayeb its about opening your mind.. if you can actually play any rudiments you will also be as good.. its also called playing outa the Box.. doesnt matter where the drums come from its the rhythm that comes from the heart. i play congas and african drums but i play my music on them ..
