I'm sorry but you're dramatizing everything. Mistakes were made in both sides (even though I admit that relatively mistakes more were made against Chelsea ) but also the English ledia amplified it like it does with everything. I remember the Abidal unfair red card that caused Barca to play with 10 for 60 minutes, the fouls made by Drogba that should have already sent him off, the penalty that should have been awarded to Barca after the foul on Henry in the home leg, a handball on Ballack (or Lampard I don't remember) in the away leg, the multiple fouls made by Ballack that made him avoid the second yellow card, etc. Those are mistakes that would have changed the course of the game even from the first leg and we wouldn't be talking about the refree in the second leg. Every team felt being robbed before and even after the introduction of VAR in multiple occasions and it really did also cost barca some matches. The way the English media has overhyped the refree thing of this game is annoying and no one is trying to see things from a neutral perspective.

I remember the Abidal unfair red card that caused Barca to play with 10 for 60 minutes, the fouls made by Drogba that should have already sent him off, the penalty that should have been awarded to Barca after the foul on Henry in the home leg, a handball on Ballack (or Lampard I don't remember) in the away leg, the multiple fouls made by Ballack that made him avoid the second yellow card, etc. Those are mistakes that would have changed the course of the game even from the first leg and we wouldn't be talking about the refree in the second leg.
Every team felt being robbed before and even after the introduction of VAR in multiple occasions and it really did also cost barca some matches.
The way the English media has overhyped the refree thing of this game is annoying and no one is trying to see things from a neutral perspective.
