i think lock is the biggest problem with whitelock and retallick going. i'm not yet convinced by anyone besides scott barrett
I have a good feeling with this coach, he's someone who commands the best outcome and has a no nonsense approach - he is a team builder and players are going to get an honest assessment to be part of the make-up. Looking forward to the matches and battles. Best of luck from Fred, Newlands SA.
North vs South is the game we need.
This game sorts out all the arguments.
Because the Super rugby is not great for test rugby intensity.
North/South game needs to be three game series.
Then pick the All Blacks.
I agree and would mean the Super Rugby Pacifika may have to start on the 9th of Feb rather 23rd giving an extra two weeks of Rugby and give the boys a run before the Test matches begin.
I just checked the All Black schedule they play England on the 6th of July and Super Rugby Pacific round robin ends 1st of june, a whole Month plus 5 days. So it would be beneficial for the guys to have a run without changing the time table after the Finals. just two weeks needed.
I remember the Inter island clashes, I agree a step above super rugby, Possibles v Probables ,thus You would have your first 33 ,35 whatever the number from a pool of 60
You would also have a New Zealand B Fifteen and injury cover say nothing of NZ Maoris and NZ Heart Land XV
@@briankelly7897 At moment we great for front rowers. We now have three world class Hookers:
Aumua,Taylor,Taukei’aho. We got six quality props : Lomax,De groote,Williams,Numia,Newell,Tu’ungafasi.
Our scrum will be awesome this year.
Sotutu is playing outstanding rugby. He wins a lot of line out ball.He is 6ft 4ins.He is the best 8 at the moment.
I would play Savea at open side.
@@markrutherford6010yep so true!!!!have to agree there
15 Reuben Love
14 Will Jordan
13 Reiko Ioane
12 Jordie Barrett
11 Mark Tele'a
10 Damien Mckenzie
9 Cameron
Five months later, and how the picture has changed! Think we will see less Crusaders in the 23. Sotutu, Reece, Finau (6), for sure, i think Razor will go for Perenara and Ratima at 9. thoughts?
throw narawa in there as well
Here's my AB's team for England.
1. Ethan de Groot
2. Asafo Aumua (Injury depending)
3. Tyrel Lomax
4. Scott Barrett
5. Patrick Tuipulotu
6. Samipeni Finau
7. Ardie Savea (c)
8. Hoskins Sotutu
9. Cortez Ratima
10. Damian Mackenzie
11. Sevu Reece
12. Jordie Barrett

19. Tupou Vaa'i
20. Dalton Papali'i
21. T.J Perenara
22. Beauden Barrett
23. Anton Leinert Brown or Billy Proctor
Great summary! I believe he'll pick the best player for the position and create a great team. ABs just need more brain coherence of the players under pressure, to minimize mistakes which cost us the World Cup, it's a mental development more than anything that will finally give us the edge in these big moments like the have had Boks.
Razor has got the opportunity to do things differently as he said when appointed. What I took from that is he will be allowed to select overseas based players if they are superior to NZ based players. I am picking Mo'unga and Retallick are in that category.
I doubt it. It would open the floodgates.
Laki for sure needs a go. Jacobson doesn't have enough impact at international level against the top 3 and neither has Vai but he's still young and doesn't have much competition ATM.
My concern is Razor building a team culture around the Barret brothers as I think Bodie's best years are behind him and another 4 is only going to see that deteriorate. Dmac will get his shot this year and Jordan can play his natural position. Hopefully their positions will either be set next year or a new kid will come out of the woodwork as a must have.
15 Reuben love
Justin Sangster is a future all black
Sangster. Is he a Samoan gangster?
Hes going to be a future legend.
that surname sounds south african...sangster!!!!
Why is no one talking about Patrick Tuipulotu at 4? Start him and Scott Barrett at 5
Scot Barret ...Captain ⁉️ There goes any hope of AB discipline.
yep he's a thug imho
Yeah lucky our captain Cane didn't get carded out of both finals he played this year aye
LOL, gold!@@EGM534
Levi Aumua should be considered at 12 or 13, but preferably 12. He has not joined the Crusaders for toff.
Aumua
Selby Rickett
Grace, Blackadder, karifi/ioane
Ratima/holtham
Stevenson
Springer
I think the biggest addition will be Reuben love from the canes as utility, Can play 10-15. It's perofetas spot to lose I'd say

2 things I think: Razor will be building towards the World Cup from the outset, so we may see a bit of a shake up in the beginning of his tenure with some new blood side by side with the veterans to pass on their knowledge. Secondly, I think he's going to choose the hardest working players with the most heart so we may see some real grunters get picked over raw talent that just dont have that extra something when the chips are down. I can't wait to see how this pans out.
Bad strategy. Winning every game should be his focus to reestablish the All Blacks aura destroyed by Fozzie's reign. Let four years from now take care of itself.
Billy harmon
I don't know how you're qualifying your statement that Razor is the greatest of all time. It's very likely he'll be good, but he's never been at international level.
Proabably why he quantified it as best ‘Super rugby’ coach of all time
@@ryanlees7246 I played it back twice and didn't hear the word "super"
@@ryanlees7246 Actually, just played it back again. Yeah, he does say super. My bad. It was super fast, but I retract my objection.
So we going to ignore NZ U20s and also ignore his coaching reputation.
@@davejordan267 u20 coaches can fuck up
Goodhue is in France so he's not in the conversation
McKenzie is great little player. But he doesn’t play the percentage well.
His game management is not test level.Barrett is great player too.
Both these guys are great running flyhalves.Barrett line kicking is not as good as Mo’unga.
Stephen Perofeta is the complete player. It is time to look to the future.
Perofeta can run, tackle, kick, pass and goal kick.
Awful 23 but good analysis and video.
The selection of razors assistants means certain all blacks wont get dumped simply because they aint crusaders.
Savea,Cane and Barrett are all available.
Savea or Cane for captain.
Your reserve locks are too short to play the boks. Darry and Selby-Rickett could make the step up. As could Strange.
Add Segner to the loose forward mix.
Stacked at halfback.
The development of the future tens will be intersting but anything other than Dmac/Baz as the 10/15 axis against england would be madness.
Remove Goodhue add Levi Aumua.
Narawa (injury) and Clarke (form/nrl) could drop out. Hope Sevu comes good.
My 23 vs Eng
Grunter Sami Lomax
Dogroll and Vaai
Ethan Ardie and Dalton
Roigard and Mckenzie
Barrett and Ioane
Telea Jordan and Baz
Cody Tam Fletch
Lord Finau

Nah no more TJ move on thats a bad call lets hope Razor does not go there...
No Sebu Reece madness
Hahahahahahahaha
No team is as connected to their nation as South African players vying to wear the Springbok jersey and no nation is so connected to all things relating the Springboks and prospective players as the South African fans are. Since before the 2023 RWC started South African fans have been supporting, praying and loving their team. Our eyes are on success daily and 2027 will just be a bonus.
Since when was this a springbok video? show yourself out thanks
