I would suggest to remove any element of chance (like the locker) and add more upper body challenges.
Yeah the element of chace really screws with real skill.
That pretty much messed up the participants in both videos. Also the fact that he makes the marines always go first, which makes it easy for the other ones to just decide to run faster than them and save time
I like how he adds the lockers in after they get winded. It challenges their decision making. More obstical courses would be awesome too. Mental and physical challenges should be included and skill is not only physical. Need to have a good subconsious and muscle memory if you want true skills to show. Also, skill comes from practice and training.

Connect the code on the net to the locker and have them smash like 5 cinder blocks(rather than a flower pot?) would be easy changes

@@AustenAlexander I know it probably sounds crazy but maybe combine the rope climb with something else? Im imagining climbing the rope then climbing into a platform above, and then another obstacle to get down the other side. I think that'd be pretty cool.

Hoooah, Go Army! I could do that but I don't think I could do it that fast now. Would have love to have done this competition when I was at my best. I miss doing that kinda stuff. hehe. I have been thinking about building one on my property to help me get to and stay in shape as well as to train my kids.

If the second person knows the time of the first person they are at advantage - they know the time they have to beat. I say, the times of both participants should be announced in the end.
Give it your all, whether you're first, or second. Knowing the previous person's time doesn't mean jack. In the Infantry. It's balls to the wall ALL the time! No dogging it!

Definitely some stuff that can be refined. Overall looks to be a tough course in terms of cardio. That initial portion must suck.

You should do away with the random locker at the end and maybe add a free climb rope they must climb and pull a flag or get a key to unlock a labeled locker at the top to eliminate chance also randomize the obstacles away from either perspective contestants branch as to avoid an inherent advantage to one of the contestants
They key with 1 locker would be great but the luck involved with multiple to choose from could make the entire rest of the course obsolete, doesn't even make it a test of endurance or strength it turns it into a test of luck

In any challenge, the second competitor is always at an advantage because they get to watch the first person go and they know the time to beat. To make it fair, those advantages shouldn’t be allowed.

The course seems fine, but I reckon if you added more intense things to it, it’ll make it more interesting, especially with the camera angles too,

I think it sould be a marsoc marine vs a delta operator do a basic pft and a obstacle course to see whos better then have a pararescue vs a seal then have the winners compete it would probably be delta v seal

En este tipo de competencia ,no se deberia ganar por tiempo , dejar al azar ,quien abre mas rapido para encontrar el martillo o abrir el seguro de la cuerda ,es solo suerte,porqué obviamente quien lo encuentra mas rapido va a ganar por tiempo.
Pienso que se debería ganar por resistencia ,completar un circuito pesado ,para ver quien lo termina
