@P G When I bought it, I think it had 56k miles. I'm at 64k miles right now. It's been pretty good for the most part. I definitely recommend doing your own repairs. I had a bad valve cover/gasket that I replaced, replaced my voltage regulator, replaced my coils and spark plugs, replaced my n54 oil filler cap with an n55 cap(the oem n54 caps are known to leak) and I'm about to switch out my Vanos Solenoids pretty soon. I'm trying to save up for some index 12 Injectors, they're expensive asf lol. And yeah the prices of all used cars went up during the pandemic. Before the pandemic, they were definitely cheaper. I paid more than I wanted to, but I really wanted the car😂

If he stayed on top of maintenance like you said, and replaced the parts that are known to fail, then that's definitely a plus; That means you won'thave to replace them anytime soon. I would still recommend getting a pre purchase inspection done just to be safe.

Ford 8.8 rear end swap, all turbo feed/return lines, stage 2 port/polished head, and helix overdrive kit.
