Loved the place! Hot Dog was OK. Rated: 7.3
Looks like a fresh dog, but $13 is steep. Rent must be expensive at that location. Keep up the great reviews!
13$ a bit to much, I’ll go greys papaya!
World famous since 2023? That's barely a year
Lol ..I thought the same thing. World famous somewhere else? 2023 in NYC?
Hudson Yards nice expensive shop!!
$13 to much pass even when i have the scratch.
Downstairs wow factor -- intense 👀
Those sausage sticks --like a tricked out Slim Jim 🤣👍
That place looks amazing🔥🔥
From 3 to 6 minutes
from 6 to 10 minutes
now 12 min video
waiting for 18 vlog 👍
Tipping is getting crazy in the USA, It used to be for prompt service on things you asked for, now someone just working a cash register at a burger shop demands one.....
I will not tip counter service!
Prosciutto? Come on man you have to be kidding, you’re in Little Spain, jamón serrano
You're right.
Another great look at a small part of the city Chris, keep it up. ✴
Over $5.00 for a NYC hotdog should come with a felony charge
Looks nice but the greed involving Street Food is disgraceful. Should be $5 max
Yeah that's too steep.
Fancy malls are guaranteed to have overpriced food that's mediocre at best.
The tipping is getting out of hand. Table service tip. Counter service no tip.
before you go to Ibiza, its e-bee-tha not like pizza 😏
Ugh...I won't be able to get the accent down with the -tha.
Nice tour. I was amazed there were no teenagers hanging out in the mall. I guess there are benefits to a place where a hot dog is $13.
Hi Chris, Thanks For Another Great Video. Yes It Was To Much, But You Have To Try Something New Sometimes. Maybe You Could Go Back to Nicks Sometime. He Seemed To Be Nice To Talk To.
$13? ive had a better hot dog at a 7 eleven gas station
Nice place. But 13 is too much.
I think the last time you went underground in similar foul weather was when you had the Korean corn dog which also turned out just average. With tax & tip, this worked out to be about $3.00 per bite of that chistorra hot dog. Still, a great teaser for your upcoming European tour!
Extremely cool. The US needs more spots like these, quite a few have been popping up here in HTX, and theyre immediate highlights of the city.
For some odd reason, it slightly reminds me a bit of the cellar at Macy’s.
You should have taken the 7 train to Flushing; and get a great hot dog from Nick.
That dog looked good to me, honestly it's the bun that would've had me sold on it. I guess it looked better than it tastes, thanks for sharing.
Another superlative Chris NYC Hot Dog review and production/NYC travel tour. After all of these years and watching your reviews, I know what hot dog I want: A thin grilled dog on a cheap Wonder-type bun with spicy brown mustard and sauerkraut...and onion sauce on occasion.
I also like the thin fried dog that Hiram's and Rutt's creates. The fat Costco dog disgusts me. Billy's, Katz's, and Gray's Papaya are pretty much perfect.
When making them at home, the best dog is Andy's Veal Dog. It's thin and has great snap and the flavor is superb. Add Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard and either Boar's Head or Silver Floss sauerkraut.
I don't want a Brioche, Martin's Potato, or any gigantic bun. I want a cheap, small, airy bun that isn't dense. A loaf of bread like the Spain place shouldn't be anywhere near a hot dog.
I don't want yellow mustard, just spicy brown or deli. Ketchup is a sin. That said, there's nothing like a quality chili cheese dog with a bit of mustard. Have never had a good one on the East Coast. Best one ever is in West Hollywood at a place called Carney's on Sunset. Hard to miss because it's a yellow train car. Pink's in Hollywood is also decent...but just a basic dog or chili cheese.
I don't want gimmick dogs like the one that you just reviewed. Greatly appreciate you falling on the sword for us. If I hadn't eaten in a week I'd still pass.
I don't want a $25 footlong from Brooklyn Diner or $29 dog from Mischa. I refuse to pay more than $5.00 for a hot dog. And I abhor the sliding prices that NYC charges.
Billy's, Katz's, Hiram's, Rutts, Dominick's Hot Dog Truck and Gray's Papaya are the gold standard.
If you're ever in Jersey check out destination dogs in New Brunswick. They're incredible
Dude, come to Dyckman dogs, my treat.
On the list. You work there?
Why would you need to tip when this isn't even fine dining? More like a fast food joint
Tipping is out of hand now.
you should always tip
Aw shucks. I thought women in bikinis would be serving up the hot dogs.
All of a sudden we’re seeing a lot of hotdog cart videos on RUclips.
Let’s Go Brandon!
The dog to bun ratio was off. They should have made it a 2-sausage on a bun thing to balance it out.
Need to do a Brooklyn hot dog my friend God blessing 🙏✌️
Pricey dog but looked good appreciate the tour Chris.
$13.00 that dog.....Naw...... Ain't gonna happen
Couldnt even fries. Whata rip off
True New Yorker thing: licks fingers, moves chair with same hand, licks finger again. Oh well, something tastes good.
Sorry the frankfurter turned out to be a beef jerky.
Love it! That's why we have iron stomachs.
isn't that chorizo? chorizo on a hot dog.. weird idea.
This place is all shut down now I think?
Chris, recently learned of your videos. Been binge watching for a few weeks. Wife and I moved out of NY a few years back to retire in nicer weather down south. Nothing better than NYC dogs, so really enjoying what you’re doing! Great to see NY again, as well. Great job!!!
Welcome aboard!
I’m not sure how you guys do it in NYC. $13 for a hotdog is outrageous lol
That’s very high even for NYC. Double digit prices for a hot dog requires a particularly special dog.
Was down there last week. Chris saw the price of the hotdog and I laughed. Went outside. Had two dogs for under eight bucks. Got a love New York.😂😂🇺🇸
Nah to that dog.
1st!
As for brick-n-motar eatery vs food cart, here's the deal: 1) Constitution protects the cart because everyone has the right to provide themselves income. 2) If any brick-n-mortar is fearful of a cart, moreso than another neighboring brick-n-motar eatery, then they need to take a good long look in the mirror because its obvious they have issues. Psychologically, or otherwise. Btw, where were the bikinis? 😂
My sister in law is Basque.
