If I see a posting on Indeed, I go to the actual employer’s site to see if the posting is legitimate. If it is, I apply directly on the employer’s site. I’ve seen many jobs on Indeed, but when doing further investigation, the employer does not have an opening for the position. Be careful out there.

I tell them I already have the most powerful Macbook available, as I do edit videos and make animated graphics. They continue to tell me it's not good enough and that they have a computer ready for me, I'll just need to send them money and once I start working, I'll see my money back in my next paycheck. Nope. Maybe one laptop but no printer which is weird for a manager’s office. It was so weird. Now out of curiosity I see the building is now renting office space.

I was scammed on LinkedIn, the lady stole my identity, I lost the rental property that I was working on because I needed a car in order to get there to work on my house and in order to keep the house you have to be actively working on the house through the land bank in Detroit Michigan. So the scammer tried to take my refund check that I was going to use to get a car. So I had to file an identity theft investigation through the IRS and I still haven’t gotten the money so I had to move to a whole new state in order to have a place to live. I was and still am mortified about this.
