18" Byzance Flat China
20" Byzance Raw Bell Ride
10" Byzance Extra Dry Splash

20" Byzance Extra Dry Thin Crash
Literally all of these are blowing my mind. They sound amazing, and the playing is even better
I don't know why, I just love how this guy plays.
This Sound... this playing... I'm blown away!
I just have bought an Extra Dry Splash two days ago, I expected to buy a splash from Meinl and it's the first and the last that I tried. I fell so in love with this cymbal!!
that dark crash is one of the best crashes ive ever heard.
The Drumset and the Cymbals sounds amazing.......
What an wonderful ensemble :)
geez....they ALL sound incredible
they sound AMAZING
Oh God!
I love this Extra Dry thin crash! Fantastic sound!
lovely cymbals!
The Drumset sound amazing....
Drumset, Cymbals and microphones are an amazing emsemble :)
the extra dry china sounds awesome!!!
and awesome drumming too !!
i like how he touch rides and hi hat....amazing drummer...
he makes it sound SOOO EASY!! this guys fuckin good as hell. PROPS!!
First crash shot almost made run to get tissues, luckily I've been working on my self control!!
Amazing cymbals!
Can't wait to try them and add something to my current Byzance Dark setup :)
the drumset is a yamaha phx phoenix in cherry sunburst. the snare is ralf signature model.
nice drums, nice cymbals, nice drumming!
My Byzance Brilliant china has cracked... I want that Extra Dry. So so so so badly. Sounds incredible.
they also look awesome
That Extra Dry china is EPIC.
Cool set!! a want it all!! i love meinl!!
that ride is amazing...
I usually don't like china's I prefer fx crashes but this one hit me xD I like that sound.. Chris Coleman also use that. If i'm going to get a china i choose that Byzance Extra Dry China.
Is that a syncopated 4/4 groove? Very playable, but I can't count it! All those cymbals sound amazing.
Not a huge fan of dryer cymbals, but that crash and splash are absolutely incredible!
Nice groove ;D
oh my god, all these cymbals are pure sex..
i like the snare sound..
@ElJefeUltimo I think this guy is much better than the other because this one can play any genre and the other seems to focus on only Jazz, Rock and Punk. This can play any genre.
I love the crashs *-*
@yewwtube I have been drumming over 6 years... Love playing jazz, funk and pop so it is perfect for me.
@ElJefeUltimo I agree with you, but that Hi-Hat is still awesome!
@Pandanobear same but i now love TRX's and meinl now
Dryer than the desert :) They sound awesome.
@loho174 - YAMAHA ( made by REMO ) on toms and floors , and RMV ( Brazilian brand) on snare !
@Swieb3r
I think that ride is the dark raw bell ride, it's in the 'dark' sub-series of byzance, have another look :)
That's just like every American not just playing DW, Gretsch, PDP, and etc.... Sonor is not the only appreciated drums out there. There's a lot of them not just playing Sonor. Felix Lehrmann plays Tama, Marco Minnemann plays DW, Wolfgang Haffner plays Yamaha, and so on. 100% Germans
goodnes... i love Meinl. but i dont think i cant buy them now.
I've been watching meinl cymbals for a long time. I be honest..
Everything that have are amazing! I love the hi hats, ride, nd china.
@yewwtube Lawl, Ive had my Byzance crash for 5 months right now and sound has gotten better with age.
This guy can play.
meinl.... simply the best.
i usually like things wet but im loving those dry cymbals!
All drumheads are RMV, a brazilian brand.
@sickbo121 16" on his left next to the hats, 18" over on the far right.
so i know what my new setup is going to be
Very nice XD I Like that sound, more the ride (Y)
@yewwtube I have had my Byzance Traditional Hi hat for almost a year and It sounds better than the first time I played it.
That groove
And he is using Brazilian drumheads by RMV.
RMV, Brazilian drum heads, Peles Rmv e acho que a caixa tambem...!!!!
Wow, some decent sounding chinas from Meinl.
What Tom drum mikes are those?! So small, easy to place, and very huge sound! Anyone know?
dry china is really good.
Hi hats = awesome
0:25 = first groove in the new Benny Greb snare promo ... I prefer the way Benny plays it.
@christraven agreed.
are those aquarian heads on those toms ? sound awesome whatever they are
Holy shit, demetri martin is also an amazing drummer!
@ElJefeUltimo I agree
Yamaha Ralf Gustke Signature Snare
this isnt really for me, but i can hear the quality. They are good, but ill stick to the mb10s and soundcasters
Wow! I know this is about the cynbsls, but can u tell me what are your batter- head skins and resonant ,also brand of drums and type of wood
where could we get this track?????? the music??
these cymbals made me thirsty
Is he using a brazilian drumhead? I;m almost sure that I saw RMV there...
there are many drummer in germany who do not play sonor
@christraven Nope, watched the entire video. He hits the China like three times in the whole video, all it is, is the ride and hats. Which are none the less, delightful. It would just be nice if he varied it a little more.
For everyone who thinks Gustke doesn't do as good a job as Lehrmenn - the key here that you might be missing is that Gustke is playing them in the context of a song. In other words, he's not just bashing out grooves, but is trying to get the idea across of what these cymbals all sound like together. Lehrmann, IMO, is boring.
Is this Tony Royster drumstick?
Anyone knows the title of the song?
For some reason, those drums remind me of Ayottes.
what brand are those drumheads?
ooo my..ex Dry china so awesome
hi-hat amazing;)
whats the name of that track?
what drums is he playing?
are those mapex drums?
@mateoarv yamaha phx drums
Crap!!! I just bought a K custom 18" crash and a A custom 17" crash what I should have done was just get a dry ride
those chinas! omg!
I would be nice if he actually played the other cymbals like the chinas and the crash for a bit instead of just the fucking hats and ride
Yeah that dry china makes me want to kiss it. In fact I probably would kiss that china. That ride is cool sounding too. Pretty obvious who the best cymbal makers in the world are. I used to be a die hard Sabian fan.... Hehe... Not anymore.
AAAH A NON LEFT HANDED DRUMMER DOING MEINL DEMOSS
ian hecox
@lovejon2death just got my Raw Bell Ride yesterday.... FUCKING AMAZING.... check one out dude
No felix :/
@yewwtube i dont really still understand your opinion in this matter because you just seem to be wrong.
@yewwtube LMAO you're actually talking about getting gigs playing the way you do? I don't think its the cymbals man....god that was a good laugh watching that video
This is like a porno movie music.
You must not have watched the entire video, then.
Come on Ralf, you've got all these dope cymbals around you and you're sticking to the hi hat 90% of the time? Felixs Lehrmann does a way better job of demonstrating the cymbals. It seems like this guy was too focused on playing the "song" (let's be honest, it's straight up 80's porn music) than demonstrating the cymbals. I shouldn't have to click around to hear the full potential of the ride, which is fucking awesome by the way.
This is like an italian not playing ufip !
@Cring0r RMV
snare is too dead for my liking
какашки
omg too dry
goodnes... i love Meinl. but i dont think i cant buy them now.
I've been watching meinl cymbals for a long time. I be honest..
Everything that have are amazing! I love the hi hats, ride, nd china.
Wow, some decent sounding chinas from Meinl.
