Just saw him in a private show in Orlando. Phenomenal artist, amazing story and a true inspiration. Matt’s music helped me through the hardest and darkest time of my life and now I listen to him and play his songs to my beautiful fiancé. ❤

This man is reaching out to God by blaming Him for his life problems. We've all been there. He's trying to find meaning in life and fulfilment only to feel empty and dry. Yet, he finds solace in the fact that he still has his wife, dog and hair (good health) on his side. However, this is all logical rationalization by him, when it should be emotional. The whole song he is saying how empty he is, but after thinking about it, he thinks he should be alright. And lashes out to God for not coming and showing Himself to be real to him so that he may believe. The truth, I think, is that he does believe, but he's the one that's not ready to follow God. Otherwise he wouldn't be complaining to Him. Again, we've all been there. I know I have. Hopefully he realizes God's right next to Him just waiting to be acknowledged. Best of wishes to him on his life journey and hope he finds His true fulfilment.

I have ptsd and I used to listen to your song when I was getting ketamine infusions. They made me sick but helped so much at a time when I was really struggling. Your music made it easier. Keep doing what you’re doing 💜

omg i also did ketamine infusions and would listen to matt maeson! i would always listen to either the hearse ep by him, or an awesome wave by alt-j. i feel like i have a deeper connection to those albums because of that.

actually, it is true. you just ran in to other good people. you weren't indoctrinated to believe good men are Christian. (Im not religious)

How do you know what he was indoctrinated to believe? Why do People think they know what others think, believe or went through. It is arrogant of you to write something like this

Religion pushes so many people away from Jesus it’s disgusting, we’re no longer under the ministry of death being the law but we are dead to the law and ressurected with Jesus. Nothing else matters besides the Gospel. Love you man and your music God bless

Funny, from a drug user perspective, a strong tall Christian sounds like the way to go.

@tomdavidson9565 you can go to church, but yet still not truly know God. Church is to encourage you, nothing more... its not to provide you the bread that God provides you,. God is here and everywhere for that.
Depending the church too, some don't even read the bible, the word of God himself. That's not a church lead by God, that's a church lead by humans.

That's sad. I hope he comes back to the Lord. I could care less about a man being strong or tall, but he definitely has to be a Christian.
