did i watched the same season as everyone else? richter was literaly kidnaped from his own story, bro had mandatory action scene and few minutes scene per episode where he was literaly the support character for everyone else. in the first episode he has more scenes, and then in last 2 where the he mostly fights... his agency is the rushed annette romance which needed little more time to even start to make sense. Fight scenese are great, sure but i dont watch castelvania only for it... its such a far cry from the last season of the orginal series...
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 They constantly shitted on Richter throughout both seasons. Even in that flashback they laughed at him when he was trying to master the Vampire Killer whip.
I had hopes. Boy was I disappointed. Richter is used only to make the fights cool, but he isn't used for much else. In his own show, he is the side character. If that isn't a failure, I don't know what you'd call it.
That's what l thought too. Like what? What happened to a meaningful friendship that includes sacrificing for one another. That message for would have hit much harder.
Garbage storyline adaptation with good action animation. You can literally skip the dialogue and go to the action scenes. Can’t believe we’re skipped Simon for this. 🤦🏾♂️
Personnally i think it was a bit better than the first season even if it's not even close to the original serie. I join you in the fact Richter didn't have much in this season and should have more in the next and realize i root out more for secondary characters like Tera than the main characters. Visually speaking it's good, good actions aswell. The story is more or less ok, nothing extraordinary. Outside of the woke Netflix shenanigans as usual I think the love relation between Richter and Annette is too fast and forced. Maybe it will be a good idea next season to make Annette infected by vampirism like in one of the games and Richter trying to find a cure or something to reinforce the bond (please correct me Castlevania gamers if i'm wrong, i only play Symphony of the night long ago). Oh ! I give a bonus point to add my favorite enemy from SotN into the serie : the frozen shade. Overall i think it's ok, not great not terrible either and is a bit better than the first season. I'll give it a 5 or 6 out of 10.
New writer and new team. Nocturne season 1 and 2 were a mediocre version of the amazing first castlevania show. This is what happens when people that shouldn’t take over such an amazing show do, these characters aren’t interesting they are so annoying. Sorry for the long comment I’m just so depressed this is what this amazing show has become.

Exactly. West skipped Simon so they could force down or throats this unnecessary, DEI storyline that had nothing to do with Castlevania. But, once again they take an established IP and use the main characters as side characters to tell a completely different story that they could never sell on their own.

richter and annette's relationship felt too forced bro

Absolutely loved this season!! Richter needed a bit more to do but this blew season one out of the water
Season 2 was an improvement but the crap foundation of season 1 (mostly the character setup) drags it down to being only okay.

So, they finally let Richter Belmont become the hero of his own story? Why did it take until season 2?
Not even. Annette was unnecessarily the focus for this season.
The action was good, the story was meh, I was only interested in Erszebet, Alucard and Orlox. The main cast is boring af.
why did Drolta betray Ezerbet? out of all their supposed love of each other then at the last second its just....sike gotcha B
It was a boring season. Did not like it at all
What are you smoking

I agree. The whole Nocturne thing is rubbish. They should kill the whole thing
@@omegaracket994 nah i agree with him where tf was dracula vs elezrebth or smth
@@omegaracket994 plus richter and annette their relationship was corny as hell
Its hollow shell of what it used to be, I'm at episode 7 and I really dont care about the characters

Still hate how he is a verbal punching bag...
Literally from childhood. From everyone.
