This is one of my favorite comments by far! That’s exactly why I made it, thank you for the kind words. If you’d like, check out the advanced guide part 1 on my channel, it’s available right now and part 2 will be soon, there are some things that will help you build on the fundamentals I went over in this video! Good luck in ranked!
It's actually fairly rare to find a new COD channel I actually like. Enjoying your videos so far. Would like to see some of your actual matches uploaded.
Thank you for the kind words, I have a full gameplay on the channel right now it’s the second project uploaded. I am curious what you think about it, if you could leave a comment there with some feedback I would greatly appreciate it! Don’t hesitate to come get involved with the community over at twitch.tv/okjlsmith !
Can you make a video going over the spawn system? And also maybe provide some tips for keeping up with the kill feed while staying in the game? Ranked play was my first intro into MW2 in like 10 years, and I feel like everyone else has such a better understanding of spawns on modes like control. Your videos have been EXTREMELY helpful, thank you so much!
Dude this is reaaaally good for your first video and also fairly helpful for people like me just hopping into ranked with not much prior knowledge of the "staying alive counts" modes like snd and control
thank you! im working on a project involving a more advanced guide that can help you even further, things like animation cancelling, spawn manipulation, control strategies and prefiring!
Amazing video. I loved the nuances, and found them valuable. Like covering when to dropshot and not. That's the stuff that other youtuber's aren't covering. You got a new subscriber waiting for your new vids👍🏼
thank you for the kind words! please share the videos with your friends and make sure to check out the advanced guides and the S&D guide on the channel as well, I know you will find value in them! thanks for the vid, solid technique tips. I'd love to see you talk about how to play the objectives to win the game (especially ranked modes: hardpoint, search, and control). I played a ton of Overwatch and I was trying to explain to my boys how important it is to be tactical when it comes to taking an objective, instead of just running and gunning. Don't think I did a good job at explaining to them, but I'm sure you could do it better than I can!
Thank you for the comment and the kind words I really appreciate it, I have been working on a video for each of those specific modes because I believe play style changes between those 3 are extremely important; so please be on the lookout for that!
When I read mentality I think about the importance of confidence but also intelligent decision making, a focus on manipulating player tendencies and understanding the options the ENEMY has when you approach fights. If you start assessing the options the enemy has when you’re playing, your game will automatically level up. This is a good idea for one of the next projects on the channel, come get involved with the twitch community and we can get some games in/talk about it: twitch.tv/okjlsmith
A recommendation I would give to my fellow controller players instead of have O-B as ur crotch button put ur right joystick as crouch for dropshots it will save the 1 second as u are also going to adjust ur sim
Check out the first part of the advanced ranked guide, I’m going to assume you’re solo Q. especially the callout/utility usage sections I believe can help you out. I’ll link it here: ruclips.net/video/cFwtP6H48ZU/видео.html
I would recommend if you're going to spend a lot of time talking directly to the viewer, make your webcam bigger and maybe place it on the bottom of the screen.
This is solid advice I agree that it could be bigger but the software I used here had 3 preset webcam sizes and the other two I felt were just way to big for what I wanted. My idea was the gameplay was supposed to take more of the viewer’s attention. As for the placement it depends what games, for example if I’m streaming OW2 I keep it top right as to not block any of the HUD on the bottom, but for cod I should move it to the bottom as you said
After watching this vid I went 33 and 12 in hardpoint high key helped out a lot
