This is happening with my cat atm, she got spayed 3 days ago kicks her cone off, we put a cat pyjama on her and it has been better than the cone because it stays on longer, but she keeps finding a way to take it off aswell. She is very energetic and barely sleeps, we haven't slept since shes been back. I would suggest trying the pyjama

Reason I am getting my kitty neutered is because we have a female cat as well. The female cat has feline herpes. If she has kittens by my male kitty, it would be entirely wrong not to inform the buyers of the new kittens that they more than likely have feline herpes and how to deal with it. Thus, making it waaaaaaay more difficult to sell or give away said kittens. Also, I would not be able to give the new kittens away to a shelter, just couldn't. I also cannot be an animal hoarder, which is what would end up happening. When cats reproduce, they have multiple kittens at one time. Humans usually only have 1, sometimes more depending on the (LESS) likelihood of twins/triplets/etc. My other male cat was neutered as a stray kitten and he is completely fine. People going crazy in the comments about how "inhumane" neutering/spaying is are completely misinformed. Especially about cat populations in shelters, animal abuse, and animal hoarding. PS: MY CATS ARE INSIDE CATS. FEMALE KITTY HAS NO WAY OF BEING IMPREGNATED BY OUTSIDE CAT.

There's no guarantee it'll calm him down. But if he is acting out because he is sexually mature, then getting him fixed should help some behavior.
A lot of people don't realize that cats are energetic and playful. They need to be played with and have toys to keep them occupied.
There are calming sprays and CBD treats that you can buy to help calm your pet.
I would recommend neutering as well as taking him to the vet to see why he is so energetic. It could be his personality or for being intact, but it also could be a sign of something else.
Definitely get your pets fixed regardless.

Hi! I also just neutered my cat a few hours ago. And yes, he's vomitting. It's normal to puke the food out for around 24 hrs after surgery. It's one of the side effect of anasthesia (I checked with my vet). But if he keeps vomitting and won't eat after 24 hrs something's definitely wrong. Hope your baby got a speedy recovery!

There are several factors in remedies for cat spraying. One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Makale Cat Cure (check it out on google) it's the most helpful resource that I've heard of. look at all the unbelievable info .

My cat doesn't want to go out. Has no way of going out. He's totally normal, never peed anywhere vomited once since I got him. Doesn't fight other cats. Marks his territory by rubbing on things rather than spray. Nuteurrd cats tend to become lazy and fat. Cats shud not be fat,it's unhealthy and simply not natural for a cat. Vets are always pushing me to get it done to my cat because they might get testicular cancer and holy shit I might as well skin it alive to prevent skin cancer. Stupid.vets don't spend 7 years at med school. Vets need to stay in business and I have witnessed their mistakes and their errors in diagnosis turn into over medicating and death. Besides the vaccinations and bi annual check up. Don't treat your cat on the spot.always go home first and research it yourself before acting on the vets advice.dont be pressured by them as they usually like to put you on the spot

What about an outdoor male cat? I have one, and I don't want to neuter him. I'm scared he will get lost or something. What should I do?

      Derrick neuter him
I have an outdoor 6month old too and I neutered him 5 days ago. But I heard it’s a rly good idea to neuter them they will live a longer healthier life and they will always be near ur home if they get out there’s nothing to worry about so I recommend neutering

My cat didn’t get a cone to go home with, he just had the procedure done today. Was told that because it’s a fast healing process he wouldn’t need it, and I’ve caught him licking himself at least twice so far. So after reading some of these comments I’m not sure what to think now

Do NOT neuter or spay your pet if you do not expect behavioral changes.
A majority of these videos were saying neutering has the benefits of 1) decrease spraying, 2) control total cat population, and 3) potential benefits of health. The first two reasons are just for the benefits of humans. Animals have rights, which should also be respected. Humans think they are better than animals, and try to controls population of other species for their benefits. (Yes, i know I am a human being.) Additionally, many of these vets were advocating for neutering/spaying for the benefits of their clinic. If they had all cats sterilized, people may have to pay for their pets from certain places with payments.
I have been good with taking my cat to my vet. But all these places advocating for neutering/spaying without mentioning any adverse or side effects make me sick. This comes to the so-call health benefits of sterilizing your pet. A majority of these places do not mention adverse effects at all. But studies also show that neutered pets (eg dogs) have an increase chance of bone cancer. I am not anti-neutering/spaying, but 1) people should be fairly informed of positive and negative effects of sterilization, and 2) pet owners should think out why and whether they really want to have their pets neutered.
I recently neutered my first cat, and totally regret my decision of neutering him. All of these places were saying there will not be any behavioral changes. However, my cat has changed drastically! He is not playing fetch anymore, which he used to be enjoy playing with me. He always seems too tired, and is not up for play any more.

Dietary should be changed momentarily after getting neutered, you’re decreasing their hormones so of course you’ll get some changes but it’s not guaranteed that your cat will change. Mine just got neutered today and he is the exact same, you’re being very biased just because of your experience but anyone who expects otherwise needs to learn more about biology. You cannot have an indoor cat and not neuter/spay them. It’s abuse for them, therefore to get it done regardless is what you’ve signed up for when getting a cat. Whether it’s an outdoor cat, well that’s for you to decide, there’s enough stray kittens that become feral and end up dying due to traffic etc but nobody can force you to help decrease that if you refuse to do so. There are MANY benefits to having this operation done, more or so for indoor cats than outdoor cats but then again they still heavily balance themselves to be similar.
It is highly irresponsible imo to not neuter/spay your cat because you’re afraid your cats personality will change. That’s not justified enough and overall appears to be quite a selfish reason all things considered. Your cat as it grows up, may change drastically anyways regardless of if they have been neutered/spayed or not. In fact, they get VERY rowdy and aggressive when in heat or when solely indoors and have not been neutered/spayed. Males will spray on clothes, the floor, walls, beds etc and it smells absolutely horrible. Females will be agitated when in heat and will be very loud and vocal and also due to agitation, possibly aggressive. The fact that you regret doing such a thing, is horrible and selfish if your cat is solely indoors, and even if it’s both/outdoors tbh. It’s more beneficial for your cat rather than you, keep that in mind. They’re not toys, it doesn’t matter if they play fetch with you anymore, he might have outgrown that trait when he reached a certain age etc. They mellow down and that’s what reduces a lot of problems.

I just dont want up to 7 cats every couple of months, well 14 or because I have 2 females. There is a bitch down the road waiting for mine to go into heat because she wants my cat to go with her cat to keep him and sell the babies. As if that little bitch wasnt enough my devil spawn of a neighbor has killed too many of my pets to let him keep going out.
You take care of your pets how you see fit and the rest of the world will do the same, unless they are being abused or neglected there is technically no wrong way of doing it.
