Just found this. Pretty cool. I was at both M40 shows and at Vegas last friday night. Metallica still kicks fucking ass!
Fixxxer is without a doubt one of their most underrated songs

Dude, I got chills for days when that Fixxxer intro tape played.
Awesome set! I thought it was perfect. Hoping for The House Jack Built or Where the Wild Things Are. But after Fixxxer I'm just getting greedy 😀
Fixxer is incredibly good, Where the Wild Things Are is stupidly underrated, reminds me of a Ghost song.

I watched from the UK so it started at 4 55am and finnished just after 7am really happy they played fixxxer
Can't believe they fuckin did Fixxer, hopefully it means they do it more often, such a good song.
Such a good setlist indeed! If they play the second show other way around like people are speculating it would be awesome! Here is my dream setlist:
1. Confusion (One of my favorites from Hardwired which could work surprisingly well as the opener with that killer intro!)
2. Am I Savage? (Never played this banger of a track either... Could work well as the second song of the set!)
3. Just A Bullet Away (They never play Beyond Magnetic and this could be the perfect opportunity to play some stuff from it...)
4. Unforgiven 3 (This where they usually have their first ballad so U3 could work perfectly here)
5. The End Of The Line (Talk about a song that gets the crowd growing after a more of a chiller song... This song is actually my favourite Metallica song of all-time as it has everything I love about them. It would also be so exiting to see if they can still pull off this song 😏)
6. St. Anger (Honestly the only songs I like from St. Anger are Frantic and the title track)
7. Am I Evil? (They should play the full epic version!)
8. Unforgiven 2 (When was the last time they played this?)
9. Bleeding Me (One of my personal favourites by them!)
10. Holier Than Thou
11. Unforgiven ( yup... Why not play the whole triology? 🤔)
10. The Frayed Ends Of Sanity (Such a good song hardly ever being played!)
11. Harvester Of Sorrow (Why not? 🤔)
12. Damage Inc.
13. Disposable Heroes
14. Fade To Black
15. No Remorse (the whole song please...)
16. Metal Militia (A good way to end)

@@jwasikowski1 Yes they have played it once at the 30th anniversary concert as they played the whole ep. But such a good song should be played more often.

@@HeroMonsterPS3 Yeah nice I got 37.5% right. I knew they were probably not gonna play most of the songs I would have liked but at least they played some.
I hope more Load/Reload stuff becomes more popular. They are two albums that have some hidden gems.
we're getting 30th anniversary boxsets so we might get more live load and reload.

your reaction to fixxxer was exactly mine but i was 100% more in shock, i couldnt believe it, i was among the 2-3 persons in my section that actually caugh that fixxxer intro since it started, i almost fainted then started to scream they playing fixxxer, THEY ARE PLAYING FIXXXER!!!

Dude I was there! But the best part of that whole weekend was Saturday nights show at The Chapel! Bastardane (Castor Hetfield on drums) Taipei Houston (Both of Lars' sons) and finally Ottto (Robert Trujillo's son Tye). It was historic, magical, words cannot describe! It was the passing of the torch if you will, just unbelievable! And they were all there, James, Lars and Rob! And it was at this small venue 200-300 people tops! 🤘🤘🤘
I have been waiting since 1997 for them to play FIXXXER! Show 2 they might play a brand new song? If they start in reverse as you thought, then they would start with a brand new song! If they start from Kill 'em All like show 1, then they END with a BRAND NEW SONG!!! That would be so fkn epic!
I had the same reaction. I was like wtf. The one song ive wanted forever. I was at work as it aired at 3pm here in Australia. I almost jumped out if my seat

when they played frantic, they didnt mess anything up like you had thought, they stopped because the fan didnt “hey” loud enough with Lars
I would like them to do Eye of the beholder and where the wild things are as well. Maybe also other stuff from load/reload or st.anger.

You should have been there. I nearly shit myself when james hit the opening chords to trapped. then absolutely lost it with fixxxer
I have heard a lot of people talking crap on this performance but I think it was pretty damn good &n the setlist was awesome

I was expecting them to finally do Fixxxer but sadly James couldn't make it justice, i hope they play it more often so he gets more used to it
I agree, James needs more practice with the song but at least the stuidio version is beautiful.
