Love this truck. I had one when I was in high school. Ended up using it as a work truck after and it just never stopped working. Best truck I ever owned.
I had a Red 85 Long bed with a 22r, and I loved it! I sold it a couple years ago, because it was rusting out real bad. The motor needed rebuilt. I sold it for $1,200 to a young Mexican man that loved it, and wanted to fix it up. This truck is in MINT shape!
@@davidregan9872 That's awesome those trucks never died until rust got the best of them. I also sold mine back in 2008 to a Mexican dude and he offered me $500 more then I was asking for it. So it sold for $2000 with over 300,000 miles on it. They where gems.
@@Scoripo81 I had 140 grand on it when I bought it, and 200 when I sold it! It had a crank bearing go out when I sold it! I just put a Webber carb on it, and a new head gasket. Last night I seen a 84 Chevy 4X4 S10 with 104,000 in good shape for $3,000 OBO with very little rust! Would you buy it? I'm thinking about it!
@@davidregan9872 Those were also very solid trucks for the time. I would consider that 84' Chevy all day. With that low of miles and because they are so easy to work on. Hmm Old trucks were the best. Just check it out very well and test drive it. Get under it and look for rust too.
That blue interior is the sickest I’ve ever seen. Makes me miss my 89 Toyota pickup with a blue interior kinda like that and a custom two tone silver and teal metallic paint job. Young people sell nice shit at stupid prices than regret it later!
One of my biggest regrets was selling my 84 Toyota 4x4. Just like this one, but silver. Was all paid off too and I had it till after college when I thought I needed a brand new Nissan Sentra. Can someone travel back in time and slap me?
Nice truck, what brand windshield molding did you use? I want to replace my 1985 4runner factory chrome trim and use what you installed on your truck. please advise, thank you!!
why is the front spring shackle contacting the frame rail? rear leaf spring shackle looks right, that front not so much. I never lick seeing a junk spare tire on a highly detailed vehicle.
@@SoCal_VCis that color medium blue (paint code 8a1)? I have a 84 standard cab which is painted white but the original color is medium blue. The color on your truck is beautiful and I want to repray the truck in the original color
Still need some fender flares and some headlight and rear light Gates as well as no sunroof or leather buckets I mean it's probably worth about five grand. Not something I would waste money on but probably good for a chick

I had the 85 White SR5 Standard Cab 4x4. Drove it for 23 years. Till some jerk stoled it.

The truck looks clean, no dirt, looks like it hasn't been used very much, I want one of these
Beautiful.
It seems the transfer case skid plate is bent upwards. It should be off the cross member and parallel to the frame.
I just got one today same thing as this 1 just not as clean lol super to that color

Should have painted it black.
Kept it original, I wish it came black from factory but I had to paint it the og color. IMO doesn’t look too bad in blue.
