The footage begins with soldiers of the 3rd Bn, 38th Infantry Regt., 2nd Infantry Division. Includes a planning session (likely reenacted or scripted) with Brig. Gen. James Van Fleet (Asst. Division Commander, later CG of 4th and 90th IDs) and Col. Ralph Zwicker, commander of the 38th Infantry Regt. at that time. Footage also contains air strikes and M1 8 Inch Howitzers firing on Brest.
