- Bodyboarders take on a long, barreling right that demands a HARD scoop to get into the pocket. Time it wrong and watch your body contort at 90 degree angles, or get bounced off the cungi below as the lip drives you into the reef.

Bodyboarding / surfing waves on reefs, in remote locations around Australia and Bali. I love both novelty and big waves! With everything that's going on in the world right now, there's nothing like getting into some waves and surf to take us away from it all. Self-isolation in some deep barrels is a valid way of social distancing!
I love exploring new waves in new locations and I love bring my viewers along my journey. Sometimes it get's sketchy as some of the waves I surf (shallow reefs, dry reefs, deep ocean slabs) get pretty gnarly. If this kind of content sounds interesting to you -- please drop a like on the video and subscribe so you are among the first to see my new vids!

take your time and get out there whenever you’re ready for it man..don’t need to rush it, a healthy mind&body is the most valuable thing you can have!
4:40 spin into barrel one of the most underrated yet best combos. cue Hardball's spin in the throat at Tahiiti Skins 2000 . If you haven't seen it, SEE IT on youtube. Think it was in the finals
craziest spin ive ever seen
Just beautiful willy! Love these videos but I sure miss seeing you out there. Hopefully soon you can get back out! Love from California!! Hometown of Mavericks
Thanks for the vids man! the waves where I live are up once a month (maybe) for most of the year, so they keep me going. Hope you get better soon so we can see some of that POV🤙
Looks gnarly !
Now this is EPIC
So good!! Thanks for sharing
Sydney area look pretty amazing for boog, I never had the chance to stay and really explore this part of the coast, a bit too far from my local Margaret river 😅, but I will definitely give it a try when State borders re-open
I actually prefer these shore based videos.
I don’t
These guys are awesome
Hello big fan, keep up the good work
Willie, get out there! Or somewhere! Get some! :)
soo sick!
There is a break there
Willllly boi ✌🏻
I see alot of body boarders walking on reefs all sketchy. Fin socks are super useful, with or without a fin.
Fin socks create drag, they should only be warn if you have an ulcer.. most blisters etc come from people not having the right size or type of fin since they have different foot pockets. Find the best fin for the way you ride that fits your foot and get your feet used to them - socks should be a last resort.
Fin socks hardly create drag if you ride your fins right. Reef surfing, fin socks are beneficial more times than not. I wasnt referring to using socks for fin fitment.
@@Skeetr86 I get what you're saying, but I disagree. Wearing socks will never be a better ride than without, I had a knee injury and spent the last 5 years out of the water, now that I'm back in the water I have to wear them from time to time cause my feet aren't used to fins yet. Fins are moulded so they should be flush around your ankle when paddling/riding.. there's no way having them lifted up by socks is beneficial. Neoprene does stuff all for any surfaces you'd want protection for, that's why booties have rubber pads.. I've worn surf booties in cold climates with a size up fins and they're great for rocks/reef, otherwise fin socks let anything substantially sharp straight through, you're better off walking across anything with your fins since your heels are exposed anyway.
Sorry I'm not against your experience, just appose advising others to become reliant on things that slow you down. Like arguing "fin savers" are better than laces/tethers.
Time to get back out there Willy, the longer you leave it the harder it will be.
You should go to gordens bay Sydney NSW plz
