There can be directors like Nolan because he himself started of as indie filmmaker. He has the vision for any type of genre and plus he focuses on what stories he would like to tell. Nolan or Cameron don't do stuff keeping audience or business of box office in mind. There are directors with that same passion in India too but their films don't have to be like Nolan's because everyone has their own ideas.
I never hate nepotism... Output matters... Hritik,Salman, Ranbir,Alia,Allu Arjun,Ntr,Ramcharan,Prabhas,Vijay,Dulquar salman,Fahad Fasil, Dhanush... And many more
But we definitely don't want janhvi,sonam,sonakshi, ananya etc...

The ONLY reason Nepo kids become successful is because people (aka us) go and watch their movies. People here blast nepo kids but would still go and watch their movies time and time again.

The problem with movies like Laapata Ladies and 12th fail is that they are not promoted more.. Arey bhai agar aapke content main dum hai, toh jyaada promote karona...I'm an avid viewer of Bollywood movies but I got to know about these 2 movies only after they got released on OTT and praises started to flow like crazy...I even searched the actor's interviews during the time of release, but there were very few interviews of that time...Even the actors of Laapata Ladies got more limelight only after it released on Netflix and Netflix even carried out interviews and other promotional videos of the cast to promote the movie even further....In the same way, Producers should highly market and promote these type of movies if they were critically acclaimed and has the potential...
I don't know what will happen to me upon 23 of age, when I would try to enter industry as a filmmaker. My aim is till 26.

Has anyone realised that in current time there are very less young outsiders in bollywood instead bollywood is now full of young nepo kids like jhanvi,khushi,suhana,sara,agastya,ananya,etc. And young outsider good actor,actress are not getting any movies.Only outsiders above 30 years are able to get movies in bollywood and that too after soo much experience in the industry by doing serials,short roles in films like Mrunal,pankaj tripathi,Kangana,Yami,Rajkumar Rao,Sushant,etc.

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are the only actors who have the discipline and appreciation for their job. I have never seen both of them being lazy, slacking or making bare minimum efforts. Vicky Kaushal and Rajkumar Rao are the only other two actors from this generation whom I admire.
