That's not what ableism means, far from that. Ableism is the discrimination of people that are not able bodied, so it has nothing to do with animals

Thank you for shedding some light on this topic 👍🏻I have always proposed that animals are indeed superior as they can survive on their physical abilities alone. Humans require "accessories" such as clothes, coats, weapons in order to make it in this world where as animals are born with what they need and often able to walk around right after birth as a human baby is pretty much helpless.

Seems like you don't even know what ableism really is. Ableism has nothing to do with speciesism. Ableism is discrimination in favor of non-disables people and prejudice (positive or negative) against disabled people. You're talking about speciesism which is a completely different thing. It also should be mentioned that the vegan community is incredible ableist, for example when they say "everyone can be vegan, if you're not vegan it's because you don't want to" or sometimes even people telling me I'm chronically ill and disabled because I'm not vegan. That's fucked up. That's ableist.

You don't realize how all discrimination and injustice is connected. That's what I'm talking about here.

@@pixieduskvs then you should just say "discrimination" or when you refer to something specific like in this video you should check what kind of discrimination it is exactly, which is speciesism in this case. But saying it's all the same just isn't true and also not helpful. If we talk about veganism and disability it's also crucial to talk about ableism from the vegan community against disabled people like "everyone can be vegan, if you're not vegan it's because you don't want to" because that is very common and needs to be addressed

@@serasvega8448 I don't need to look it up. I live it every day sweetie. I've been disabled since the age of 5.

@@serasvega8448 Also if you watch my other videos, you'll see I do address that obviously doing the best you can to live a cruelty free life as a disabled person is a great thing. I'm well aware that some individuals need to take medicines tested on animals, etc. If you're trying your hardest to live a cruelty free life, then you're doing a great thing for yourself, for the animals, and for the world at large.
