Good to see them biting again. Haven't been out in a while because of the holidays. Hope to get out next week. I dont think i have seen 2 doubles trolling in a kayak before! Fun to watch. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see you out there soon.
Dude, can you do a video on your trolling motor setup… looking to buy one and would appreciate all the advice before jumping in. Unfortunately I’m not made of money and trying to avoid costly mistakes 👍
It really depends on the weight of your Arig. We each trolled at different speeds because we used different size jig heads or weights to keep the rig down. I was trolling at 1.7-2.1 mph. I like to troll around 1.5 if I could but when I see my rig tap the bottom then I know to move faster. In 25-30’ of water, you’ll want your rig 15-20’ down
@ from boat is what I’m talking about for Arrowhead harbor marinas but for the kayaks, you can launch at barge canal access in West Sacramento which is a free launch and head 4 miles out to the area I was at. You can also find fish within a mile from the launch
What a great day on the water. Awesome catches and thanks for putting me on your video😊. I just uploaded my video too☺️. Let's go...
Watching yours right now! It was funny because I told Tony I need to catch a fish in front of you but you did it to me lol

Appreciate it! Thank you 😊

I need to change it up cuz I hear bank fisherman’s talking about me when I ride by them 🤣 wish I had time to go out today tho!
Love the small poles for the yaks and rafts 🎉 Got 3 runners and a demon now. Haven't touched my big poles in over 5 years
Nice! I just gotta put my nice reels on the mini rod and it’s game on!
@FishingWithAlexS seriously do you won't regret it. Also those small poles can handle some monsters too

I understand how you feel. I have a video on it a of couple months back but unfortunately the motor I have is discontinued
Are you using storm swimbait? How big for your umbrella
winter fishing in Sac?? wouldn't have expected it to be so fire !
If you know where to look! It can be 🔥
Nice! How fast are you trolling btw?

Sacramento fishing legend
Oh stop it 🤣
Guess its time for me to break out my A-rigs. Would have been cool to get a double digit on that tiny Temu combo. You killed it bro.
Haha just the cheap reel (MN100) the rod is from Bass Pro so I will definitely catch monsters on that this year 😅 thanks for stopping by!
Nice limit out!
Thank you!
What a day man!
Yup! Thank you
Nice video 👍 if I was coming from Merced, What’s the closest boat ramp to that spot? Thanks
Thank you. Arrowhead Harbor Marinas may be the closest but it’s ridiculously far to this spot from there!
@ ridiculously far in a kayak?! or a long ways in a boat also? Nevermind I just google mapped it, ya it’s 30 miles one way!

@@FishingWithAlexS ya I’d be in a bass boat, you 🛶 guys are a lot more brave than me!
@@RJB1017😅🤣
The water still that good at the port ?
Only at barge canal is where you will find the stained water but once you get into Lake Washington and beyond, the water is nice with good visibility
Nice bro…You change your days off at Target ? Good content. 🎣
I work mon-thurs now
Like the only spot left to fish with everywhere blown out
Not really! My buddy caught some keepers on the sac river 🤫
Yup I was right. You told people to stay away so you can catch more fish.
Lmfao 🤫😅🤣
💛...
What’s up Alex this is Daniel I was out with you on the water that day
