I love these two. When I watched the brilliant 'Unstable' I didn't watch the titles. I kept thinking, 'Wow. These two are naturals as father and son. And how wild is it that they actually do look a bit like each other!' The writing is fantastic. The chemistry... It's like watching a flame dance about on the bark of a petrol soaked log while the bark still thinks it's in with a chance. Notice - I did not designate roles. It's both of them. Both are, simultaneously, bark AND flame.

Unstable is so good. The writing is great. It's unpredictable, hilarious, diverse and even the unlikeable characters are somewhat likable and multidimensional. I hope it gets renewed for another season.

I sat and watched the series back to back without realising until I reached the end. After seeing the toxic environments created by multiple CEOs - especially "visionary" ones, the Unstable universe feels so clean and fun. Thank you to the Lowes for a great show! 👏😁

Just finished watching Unstable, loved it and Binged watched it! Absolutely love Rob Lowe he just gets better and better (watching 911 Lone star) Loved watching John Owen he is fantastic, he really holds his own and loved his character, so good to watch them together ❤️ Also loved Luna she was so funny and so awkward, but so cute Their relationship is ao good and the insta bites from John Owen are hilarous 😂😂😂
Rob is a good sport which says a lot about him. And he let his on take the spotlight. A narcissist would not be like that. Its more of a father-son banter. Its clear there is a lot of love and respect between these two.
This nepo problem is tough to solve isn’t it? I mean, on one hand, I’m all for father and son bonding. I imagine Rob’s venture into acting must’ve been much more challenging. From Wikipedia: Lowe got his first professional acting role in 1976 when he was 12 and still living in Dayton. He played an errand boy in a production of Sherlock Holmes at the Wright State University summer theater. He landed the part by calling every local theater and asking each if there was a part for a child in a play. Lowe was paid $150 for the role.
The whole “nepo problem” is ridiculous. Kids generally follow in their parent’s footsteps career wise. Be it a mechanic, doctor, or actor…trades usually run along family lines. They’ve had access to the field from childhood, they SHOULD be better equipped for that field. I don’t understand why it’s awful an actor/singer’s kids become actors/singers but ok (even expected) in absolutely any other profession
When Seth asked about John Owen's favorite West Wing moment, I thought he'd say "When Rob left the show, that was the best part by far. Then he came back at the end and it got terrible again."
Well the father was truly quite stunning in his youth. His son has his brilliant eyes; I think he’s really cute, the boyish look that his father didn’t have.

AWWW he’s so good in Parks and Rec! I couldn’t care less about Rashida Jones, but “Ann Perkins!” My ex and I loved his character and it was such a sentimental thing! Also, I understand not wanting to watch him in the west wing.. but that’s unfortunate.

I've never seen West Wing either, I'm just not interested. But Rob Lowe was the bad guy in my favorite movie Wayne's World so hopefully they balance out.

Also a nepo baby would get a hell of a lot more chances to fail than a non-nepo, a non- nepo would be lucky to get one chance to fail, & that’s the problem

I watched the first 3 episodes so far and had more than a few laugh out loud moments. Excellent comedy.
Unstable is great. I binged the whole thing in two nights, I never binge. Highly recommend. So funny and clever actors all around.
I've also never watched West Wing and watched Parks and Rec before Rob was on and still continued to watch it.
I'm 3 minutes into the new Netflix series, Unstable, and I just spat my lunch out laughing. This is not good; it's brilliant! 😅
