Thanks very much for actually demoing the product. I've been using a Remmington Quick Cut for years, but ended up having to visit a barber's the other day and the guy used something like this on the shortest setting and I absolutely love the result. Definitely gonna get myself this, or the 5000!

Very good review. I got one yesterday, but unfortunately I plugged it out after one hour of charging. I hope I didn't harm it.
In the manual, the HC7650 only needs 1 hour charge to get your 90 minutes

I’ve been trimming my hair with the Philips MG7770 mutligroom set for years with no issue…except it does not offer many options with hair length , thus I decided to purchase this! we’ll test it with my son this weekend!

When you remove the comb, it cuts 0.5 mm
Does it cut 1 mm?
No, without any guards, it will cut 0.5mm and the shortest guard is 2mm.

Unfortunately I used mine before it was fully charged, but I did it WHILE it was plugged in. I hope I didn't hurt the battery!
