People Told Us Islam was banned in china but we found the cities muslim area and the TRUTH was revealed! its Chinese name is "+/f" (niú jie), which directly translates to "cattle street." In fact, it's very close to the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City, so there are no actual cows here. The mosque was built in 996 AD, making it over 1000 years old, and it's a mix of Chinese and Arabic architectural styles. It covers about 6000 square meters and used to be a political, cultural, and commercial center during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Many Muslim merchants and believers settled here.
During the Cultural Revolution in 1996, the Cow Street Mosque was closed and damaged, repurposed for uses like storage. It wasn't until 1978, after efforts from the government and the community, that the mosque was restored and protected. It gradually regained its status and influence within the Muslim community.
Today, Cow Street is a very famous Hui ethnic food street.
It's where we explored. Yes, we tried the wonderful Halal muslim food of beijing china!

In China, some ethnic groups who believe in Islam are superior people and will not be arrested if they commit certain minor crimes. This is a rumor, I am not sure if it is true. But the fact is that it is absolutely impossible to ban Islam. It is ridiculous.

2nd, I live in Australia, there are no any people during day time in church too. It's normal that you didn't see any one in day time.
3rd, If their government has banned Muslim, you would expect they have demolished or burned down this mosque rather than spending huge amount of money on renovation of this mosque.
4th, Even you are foreigners they still let you get in without any issues. You can tell they have nothing to hide but the American media is the liar.
I would be wary if foreigners came to my Mosque especially in China

Remember, there's no crime in telling lies and spreading hate, by the Western media.
You can criminalise their lies by not believing them or better still not listening or reading them.
Just because lying and spreading hatred is not a crime does not mean that it is right. If these Western media outlets profit from lying and spreading hatred to gain traffic for themselves, what is the difference between them and fraudsters? My view is that if these media outlets lie and spread hatred to the detriment of the legitimate rights of others, and they also profit from it, then it should be considered a crime.

@ssrae-2229 China is more free than Malaysia! 😅
@@ssrae-2229I thought you have to convert to Muslim in order to marry a Muslim in Malaysia
I thought that was true in China as well, you have to convert to Muslim if you want marry a Hui girl, maybe is a different requirement for a Han girl to marry a Hui boy? At least that was the main story line in the famous novel 穆斯林的葬礼
In February this year, I also visited the Muslim area of Beijing. What impressed me the most was the food here. Many shops were overcrowded and I had to queue up every time to buy. It was a headache, but it was worth it and it was delicious.
In China, all religions are allowed, no restrictions at all. However, if you wanna manipulate religion to against government, there will be very serious consequence.

Like Falungong, They brainwash people into not seeing a doctor when they're sick etc.。。。This kind of indirect harm to the people is not permitted by the Chinese government in order to protect its citizens. As a result, some of these individuals spread their teachings to followers in the West, and thus they spend their days smearing China
Around 2010 the Muslim used to be quite trouble makers in China. When the Muslims are the minority in the local society, they are very friendly to everyone. But when the Muslims became the majority of the local society, they start to bully the non-Muslims. For example, if the Muslim become the majority of a street, they drive away the alcohol shops and pork butcher shops in this street. At that time the Muslim were often complained by non-Muslim about "Muslims forcing other people to respect their lifestyle but they don't respect the lifestyles of other people". This kind of things kept happening in China. There were a lot of news about this. Luckily, the Chinese government noticed this and fixed this problem. The policemen just arrested and punished the law breakers, without any concern of making religious problems. It is none of business of religion. It is just the business of breaking the law. The natural ambition of the Muslim were then limited by the laws. Nowadays the Muslim and non-Muslim live together very peacefully as you see in the video.
Only a small group called ETIM supported by SA, US and Turkey
@@DukeLM No it's no business of terrorist. I just mean the daily conflict between normal Muslim citizens and normal non-Muslim citizens around 2010 in China.

A well-known example is the so-called Lanzhou Ramen Gang or Hualong Ramen Gang. Owners of ramen stores in most cities in China used to come from the Hualong Hui Autonomous County in Qinghai Province, where more than 80 per cent of the population are Hui of the Muslim faith. The area was famous for making and selling its own firearms decades ago. After being cracked down on by the government many of them instead traveled across the country to open ramen stores. The area of Hualong is not really known for its food, so they tend to claim that they sell ''Halal authentic Lanzhou ramen'' or something like that (Lanzhou is the capital of another province, and the city is famous for its ramen. Although it is close to Qinghai and has a similar culture, it is not in Qinghai, much less in Hualong). About ten years ago, the market for fast food restaurants became saturated and more competitive, so the owners of the Hualong Ramen restaurants in many cities claimed to have set up a ramen association and demanded that other ramen restaurants (such as those run by real Lanzhou people) pay a lot of money to the association or even close down their stores. Otherwise, they attacked it with some triad dirty tricks. And there were some Hualong ramen store owners who rented a room and intentionally owed rent to the landlord and beat the landlord away if the landlord came to collect the rent. At that time, there was a lot of fake news in foreign countries smearing China's Muslim policy, and some governmental departments didn't dare to do something in order to avoid another new fake news fabricated by the foreign media. It wasn't until this sort of thing made the news in China several times, and the Chinese government became more and more unconcerned about foreign media smears, that some local governments began to gradually crack down on this behavior. In the last few years there has been no news of such behavior.
还有当初地方打群架,都说回族人团结,因为人家一叫一群人就过来了😂
as a Chinese muslim,i can tell you we make jokes about western media:The west love us way more than their own people.Mash'Allah! 🤣! In China, you have freedom to believe whatever you believe, just don't preach in public places. We had really bad religion conflicts in history.
I live in Jiaxing city, where is next to Shanghai,it is a city with an absolute majority of Han people and less than 500 Muslims, but we have a mosque here. I go to pray every Jumma, and on Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha, all Muslims and some foreign mulsims gather in the mosque area to pray. The police lock down the entire neighborhood for us.
The US cares so much about Muslims in Xinjiang, but in Gaza the US helps the Zionists to eradicate them! Yeah, right!😝😂
That‘s exactly how religions should be practiced, within your own walls not preaching outside because it‘s between you and God that you believe, not between you and community, it‘s personal.
You may ask western media: how many Mosque in China vs how many Mosques are in US, UK, ....
According to wikipedia:
2,769 mosques in the United States as of 2020:
over 1500 mosques in the UK..
China had 39,135 mosques as of 2014: Xinjiang Province has 24,100, Gansu Province has 4,606 and Ningxia province has 4,203.....
💯💯❤️❤️
So, maybe it’s those white people in the US and Europe that suppress the Muslim religion, eh?
The only difference is that the mosques in Communist China is called public toilet in free democracies - used to urinating and defecation. Where as in free countries mosques, churches and temples are places for worship
20k plus mosques in Xinjiang alone. Overall about 39000 mosques in entire China.
Chinese food is definitely the best, no refutation, sometimes the waiter asks if you are Muslim, that means: is there any limit? Like pork, beltfish or other meat of fanged animals.

There are 56 ethnic groups in China, all of which are united. Many ethnic groups have their own beliefs, unique festivals and unique architectural styles. They live freely in China. The reason why Western media conveys wrong information is that they want to split China by inciting the secession of some ethnic minorities. You can go to Xinjiang for tourism. On the contrary, at the end of the 19th century, the Uyghur population in Xinjiang was 3 million. At the beginning of the 21st century, the Uyghur population in Xinjiang has exceeded 10 million. Is this genocide? The more people are exterminated, the more the population increases? ? The United States keeps saying that it is defending human rights. At the beginning of the 20th century, the population of North American Indians was more than 10 million. At the beginning of the 21st century, there are only a few hundred thousand Indians left in the United States. Is this defending human rights? The more the racial population is defended, the smaller it becomes? ?

China is politically and functionally secular, with religion regarded as a more private aspect of life, which I personally agree with.

The Muslims pray on specific times of the day. There isn't a need to do it at the mosque. The Friday prayer is ultimate important for the worshippers.
Yes we know 👍

Niu Jie! Great food there! Famous for Chinese Muslim food. I love JuBaoYuan there.
Very good 😊 👍
Although it was never the mainstream, Islam does have a long history in China. A number of important figures in Chinese history were Muslim, most notably the Ming Dynasty admiral, Zheng He (Cheng Ho.)
It’s almost like people on both sides don’t understand that two things can be true at the same time
Actually, not only in big city, but like in our small city , there is a Muslim community, and some mosques . parents prefer register their child's nation minority if one parent is. minority could get more rights and profits on education and others in China.

"Not sure.... " it's hilarious lol

A good night life spot is Houhai / Qianhai / Shichahai, right by lakes : )
Thank you 🙏
As I expected, yesterday I asked you to go to Niu Street, and today you went there, and you went to a very accurate snack bar and Niujiai Supermarket, but it's a pity that you didn't eat jujube cake or Zhen cake, which is one of the best snacks in Niu Street. Of course, Niu Street also has the best traditional Beijing hot pot. It takes about 1-2 hours to queue up. It's very good. You came according to my idea. Have a good time in Beijing!
Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for the tips ❤️
Wow, I am a Muslim living in Niu Jie. Welcome to my hometown
Thank you so much 😊
Some AI food tour guide is sorely needed here 8:08
The Huaisheng Mosque in Guangzhou is China's oldest mosque and was built when Mohammed was still alive. This mosque until today is still in use.
Really wow 😮
Very nice English accent ... 😊
Thank you! 😃
