    A ladder in the shed
    Beats several days in bed
    (Old DIY saying)
    OR
    C - Control - Resist the urge to get the ladder out
    H - Helmet & Harness - If you must. You may look a wus but you’ll still make it to the pub to celebrate.
    I - Instruments - What the doctor will need
    F - Fuel - 8 hours bottle to bottom tread
    W - Wind - Check the RUclips videos of ladders being blown sideways
    A - All clear - If you leave the ladder in the shed
    P - Power - What you will feel at overcoming temptation
    Get well soon. Us grounded folk need the vicarious thrill of a ride with PaulieB!

    I'm a nurse taking a lunch break and watching this video. I can assure you that no one on this floor is calling "us" brilliant at this hospital. Anyway, love the micro light stuff here in states. Mend quickly!

    • @paulieb796
      @paulieb796  7 месяцев назад

      Hi Matthew. I guess hospitals in the US are similar to here in the UK where staff are run ragged dealing with an endless stream of patients. Some patients who were only thinking of themselves were moaning at the nurses about wait times without taking the time to appreciate that the staff were facing an impossible task. You are appreciated. Thanks for looking after us and fixing us when we do dumb stuff to ourselves. 👍

    • @grahamwelby
      @grahamwelby 7 месяцев назад

      @paulieb796 I couldn't avoid sneezes, they were excruciatingly painful. If I felt one coming on, I just wanted to put a gun to my head! After a couple of weeks, I found the sharpness of the pain diminished significantly, but it was still hard to find a comfortable position for sleeping. There's just no respite as you still have to breathe, at least with a limb break you can imobilise it for some relief. I found painkillers had little effect, which only compounded the misery. Hope you're soon fit to fly again. At least my C42 at Darley Moor is finally finished, and the permit renewal application went in today, so she should be coming home soon. See you in the sky soon.👍

      Pre-ladder climb checklist v2.1 effective 04/03/24
      1. Step away from ladder.
      2. Have a word with yourself about being too old.
      3. Itemise list of excuses for not climbing ladder.
      4. Take ladders and return them to shed.
