The inversion has to be one of my favorite park rides. I remember riding it for the first time slightly nervous because it went upside down but the fact that I love the normal version Freakout made me excited so when the flips came and the ride finished. I fell in love. Sadly I haven’t sent the things flip anymore but I still go on it anyways because it’s fun.

ive been on every single one exhept the mini loop fighter.
in general id say the bigger the higher the forces but less jerky/intense.
Infinity is awsome, hanging upside down that high is a really cool feeling
The inversion 12s are amall but pack quite a punch if you get a good cyle
The loop fighter is a bit less comfortable than the inversion 12 but just as intense if not more since they can unlock and lock the gondolas at every part of the swing and tend to it more often than the inversion 12s
The fabri inversion is inbetween the loopfigher/inversion 12 and the inversion 24. doing a full roation while inverted is really cool.
i love all of them and they all have their qualities and shortcomings

Rode both here in ger multiple times, I love them. Not gonna lie, I prefer the Loop Fighter, even though I think it's less comfortable. But a little pain is okay, lol. The unlocked gondolas swing much faster and harder. Feels like the arm swings faster too, so more g forces. What I don't like about the Loop Fighter are the lights. The whole ride is covered in way too bright LED's. Driving past a fair at night with one of these things standing there is not fun at all.
On both the Inversion and LF the ride experience is intense, but far from extreme. Doesn't have to be though. The Pegasus is pretty similar to the LF (Gondolas and stuff like that), but way more intense. Doesn't have that nice high upside down view though.

The Loop Fighter in Niagara had the base of its legs torched off so it would need new legs to be setup again. it currently resides at a race track in Los Angeles dismantled along with a majority of the rides from the park. I run the Loop Fighter, The Stinger for Reithoffer. We currently have plans for big upgrades to the ride in the works. We've been told the flipping seats are the LEAST favorite part of the ride. Some fairs we do not flip the seats. We only run Cycles 1 and 2, never 3 or 4 and never manual. Last year I spent about 5k on an all new speaker system and triple fog machine set up for The Stinger. We're always looking for news ways to make her looking her best. There is another loop fighter coming to the US this year

I’ve been on Ordelman’s inversion XXL when it still had four gondolas. One thing that ride did was stall at the top with the gondolas unlocked. It would then lock them and go down, letting you rush past the ground upside down. This was very cool.

I remember getting on one for the first time back in 2012-2013, and it was horrifying. Not because it was really intense, but because the restraint was too loose. I remember feeling myself slipping out, and in a panic I had wrapped my key lanyard around the restraint to try to hold onto it better.
I haven't been to that amusement park since then, and whenever I see videos of that specific Loop Fighter, it gives me massive anxiety.

  • @BassGuitarSlide
    @BassGuitarSlide 2 года назад

I've been on both a Loop Fighter and Inversion, but unfortunately in both cases, the cycle was quite short and not very intense. On the other hand, I rode two "Pegasus 16" (also from Technical Park) and while looking very similar to the Loop Fighter, these little rides are by far more extreme - one of the best flat ride models ever created!

@@CoasterCollege a lot of the KMG Inversions in the US no longer flip the seats. I've been told the ride I work on, The Stinger, is the only one that flips the seats now, and it's not even a KMG. I've seen and ridden many KMG Inversions here in the US and none of them that I've been on flip the seats. They don't flip the seats because of money and throughput. They can make more money and still thrill people without flipping the seats.

I like to convince myself that I'll go on any flatride, but I must admit: I got cold feet when seeing Inversion at the MN State Fair and did not go on it when I had the chance. It's highly unlikely I'll get back to MN any time soon, so unless one of these opens up in my backyard (say, any Jersey beach), I probably won't get another chance.
I've never been on a LoopFighter, but I *have* been on something that kinda resembles it: called Delusion, it doesn't go purely vertical (more like 60 degrees, maybe more), but it otherwise has what I believe to be a similar feel.
Here's a link to a YT video featuring Delusion: ruclips.net/video/ep5no9yCh7E/видео.html
As always, a fun and informative video!

A little thing you missed. KMG has started to create the inversion after the huge succes of Abbie Danters AIR in Tilburg, Which is a Zierer Star Shape. So KMG Copied that Idea, and made the concept a bit smaller. Only issue: The ride was too intense. So they had to adjust the initial design to make it past the very strict TUV SUD regulations. Then there is the Infinity. The reason only 1 has been sold, is that the gondola's are not able to loop like you said, only slightly rocking due to High G-forces and miscalculations in the contra-weight of the machine by KMG. The Infinity is because of this high G-Forces, only allowed to make 1 looping only by the TUV SUD. I rode the Infinity, and I have to say: It is without the looping gondolas and just the one looping, extremely intens. There is just so much G-Force pulling you. This is not a ride for the GP in most parks and most fairs. Although the fairs in Germany have BIG lines for it.
