Great news Paul, I am 70, saw my Mum suffer from dementia and had to watch my Dad hold in together for almost 15 years. I can empathise with you and your whole family. I think You Will Never Walk Alone sums up your last 9 months.
As someone who works with dementia patients looking after a carer such as your dad, it's so important. I'm sure this process with you has been a real fillet for him. Congratulations I'm off on a trip to the Amazon.
As a son who loves his father immeasurably, I know how much we want to do things for them as we become able. I have no doubt that yours is proud and grateful mate. Cheers
It’s such a great story. The whole journey your family has been on is so heartwarming. Considering there is so much dross on tv atm, this would make a great film. Surely someone somewhere must think the same. Good luck and best wishes to such a beautiful family
Hi Paul, long time follower of yourself and Redmen TV. I'm so sorry to hear of your Mum. Dementia is an absolutely devastating disease which, unfortunately, claimed my Mum's life back in 2014 at the young age of 66. I hope you are able to offer your Mum the absolute best quality of life moving forward on the back of this, and any help that my purchase has offered your Dad as a carer fills me with a sense of hope through great empathy towards your situation. You are a good guy mate and, big up for using your platform and position for such a worthy cause, in an effort to bring attention to the disease and your situation, which, as I'm sure you are more than aware, affects so many. Making your Mum and Dad very proud mate in such extremely diifficult circumstances. YNWA 🙏❤
Just ordered the special edition, so it will have a long drive south. Well Done Paul it’s finally a reality. I lost my Nan to dementia so I feel for you all. You’ll Never Walk Alone, Up The Reds!!!
Ordered my copy. I’m going through the same thing right now, my grandma is currently suffering from dementia and it’s heart breaking. I hope you’re all doing well and your family are all doing a great thing! Best wishes!
Paul, I'm so pleased for you and your whole family especially your dad. What a fantastic thing to do for someone. That's love right there. You and I are cut from the same cloth, nerdy, geeky reds fans with a passion for this kind of stuff. The book is boss, well done to all involved.
Well done Paul and family. I finished the book yesterday sat on my terrace in France ( it’s a hard life ). A lifelong red from Walton who started in the boys pen and graduated into the Kop and lived through the shankley paisley and klopp eras but now doesn’t get to the match so lives it through you and Redmen tv. Loved the book and looking forward to the sequels . Keep up the good work, really liked the Europa travel vlogs last season maybe get some champions league ones now your diary is a little less full . Good luck with all your future projects , Derek
Dementia is a terrible disease, my late Mum and Aunt both suffered gromit. I also nursed people with Dementia, a hard job, but rewarding too. Good for you, love watching you, will enquire about downloading the book. I am old enough just to remember the World Cup being stolen. Will you be donating any of the proceeds to Dementia research? Anyway hope it sells well. 😊
i think a really good book would be the story of redmen tv,,,how you started how you got going and how you made it,,,,a real life story of a RUclips channel,, the journeys you have had following Liverpool all over the world, interviews with players and managers
I don't know if this will help but keep it up Mate. There is a lot of new research on dementia and the positive impact of fasting and other practices that could help. Stay strong Paul.
