Watching this channel has made me realise how clueless I am about so many things and one thing I don't regret is subscribing to it.
Me too 🥺
Ngicela iRegister and tick myself
it really scares me but its insightful and it makes me want to be kinder to people
@@katlegomokwena6975 I'm the same as well, I have always been kinder to people, but judgemental in so many ways, but now I know better and want to do better
Thank you Lebo and the team , my baby girl's friend had a stroke 2019 at the age of 17 she was also healthy and just couldn't come back from the bathroom in the middle of the night luckyl her mom noticed that she took way to long and get suspicious and went to the bathroom and found her and she couldn't speak or move, it was so sad her friends were so devastated, she couldn't write her matric but we thank God she fought and the doctors said she will be brain damage , she wrote her matric in 2020 and she passed
Literally, this show is worth my data
I'm happy they have recovered even though it's not 100% I pray for their full recovery.
Right!!!????
South Africa needs more rehab centres mainly for neurological therapy to deal with TBI, CVA and related conditions. Few rehab centres are available in the country and most of them are private facilities. We need more government support in establishing such facilities.
To everyone watching and reading this comment may God bless u n your loved ones
Back at you Phathi🙏
Thank u dear
It’s a miracle they can speak and articulate themselves so well!!! Gives us hope 🙏🏾
Thank you once again Relebogile for always digging deeper to educate us.
I suffered a minor stroke at age 22 back in 2015 ... one of the worst experiences of my life. I am grateful for gift of life
I am so happy that they were able to still recover from the stroke at a young age still. Stroke is a very cruel thing. My dad lost almost everything due to this attack. Our family had to start from scratch as a result of how weak my dad became when he lost his speech. It must have been so frustrating for people that were able helping them out from a nature they were not familiar with. Thank you again for educating our nation with such powerful episodes.
I'm here for my brother Prince Maseko ❤
Me too!
This is really educational and when sis Relebogile mentioned the fact that when it comes to certain illnesses, it's always associated to old people's diseases and i think that, it's hightime we share such information so that we raise awareness . I remember last year March, i came from work, all was well and suddenly i could not breath. After several tests, doctor diagnosed me with pulmonary embolism. My family was informed that i will not survive this, everyone was intrigued as to how this happened as they continue to figure out what the cause was. Ofcourse i had no surgery or any operation, had not given birth and nor am i old as this are the common causes of PE. So, blood clot situations are very common in young people too.
Mmmmmh I'm so sorry you have to go such
It sounds scary to wake up to such a condition. We thank God you are both healthy.
It does hey!
Never stop learning because life will always teach you something
Thank you Rele
Relebogile can really dig deep!Like a magician you don't know what she's gonna pull out of the hat...we appreciate this a lot.
As a stroke survivor myself,I could not remember my own name, dressing my self was a challeng😭😭😭
I'm sorry you had to go through that 😥
I pray for healing on your life

Thank you for the educative content. We learn a lot from this show
Thank you so much for such an informative episode. We meet people who’ve been through what Prince and Bianca have been through and sometimes we are not equipped to best support them, so today we know a little more on the topic of stroke. Wishing your guests all the best.
Thank you for sharing your stories guys.
I had a stroke last year at 23.
I can indeed relate.
🫂
I pray for healing on your life...
I'm just wondering if Relebogile ever feels overwhelmed by all these stories.I feel as educating and eye opening as they are, there's an emotional side to them as well, like when she asked a similar question to that psychic lady a few episodes ago.
I hope you have a way of calming yourself down and releasing sisi. Also* you were made for this, you were made to deliver these stories to us.❤
She is a star😇🤩🏆
Lebo you such a start, thank you for developingvand teaching us on our daily life challenge, we are certainty learning and understanding whilst living with all
I had it when i was 15/16 but am only realizing now it was stroke by watching this video...with me i was taken to traditional healers...
Lebo, to me I was at wk. It was time to go to the look. I tried to stand up bt I couldn't. Since that day I hv never walked, it's 5 yrs now. Doctors say I hv rheumatoid arthritis. I hv no back function. So am semi paralyzed. Legs and arms don't function. They sometimes cramp and don't wk. The pains are excruciating and medication doesn't wk. I hv used all medicine , bt nothing seems to wk. It is very scary.
Praying for healing... *Bearhug!*
We pray for your recovery 🙏
Thanks to God for his mercies and to the doctors that your lives were saved. Thank you for sharing your stories. These silent killers can strike anytime
Let us always check on our loved ones without them these two wouldn’t have not made it. Kudos to your families.
This episode makes me re-live that fateful night of April 21 2021 when I had a Stroke attack. At only 45, no underlying condition associated with Stroke like HBP, Diabetes or High Cholesterol. Fairly healthy and a very active person. The most painful thing with Stroke Survivors is being misunderstood and not knowing what caused your Stroke because you live in constant fear of another stroke. It's a nightmare for your Caregivers because one minute you're fine and the next you're depressed and feeling like giving up on life. Anxiety and Vertigo are your everyday struggles - noise can drive you crazy etc. We need a local (SA) Support group to share experiences and support available for Stroke Survivors.
Thank you for sharing your experience and hope you'll find support in this platform too
I really love your channel. I really am learning about a lot of issues
Unpacked No.1 fan has arrived
This is really scary...
I have a friend that suffered a minor stroke ,it was so bizarre to both myself and her family until we realized how likely it is for anyone to suffer from a stroke , young or old! thank you abuti Prince for sharing light to us about your experience
she was 17 when she had her stroke ,forgot to ad that we were in matric 2009
It scares me a lot, because I'm the one to bottle up a lot and when angry I run out of words. I get weird pains sometimes when angry, panic attacks at times.
Hmmm take care of you.
Thank you for raising that question about what caused her stroke 🙏
I love your channel relebogile❤. Very interesting topic to unpack. Obviously nothing close to a stroke but I remember when I had gall stones It took about 2 months of suffering in pain before the doctors realized I had gall stones. They ruled it out because I was young.
Sedi how are you now?
@@stellamooibedi9027 I am okay now
I ended up having surgery and got them removed. It's kind of you to ask ❤
@@lesedikonyana2309 I'm glad you're okay now my Queen.
The scariest thing is how you can’t really prevent strokes 100 percent. It’s just can happen
Much love family ❤️❤️😭

I have been through a similar situation in August 2013 at the age of 24, at first it was described as minor stroke by my GP and she gave me medication and my face was disformed already but she told me that I will be fine, so I did not take it very serious because the Doctor said I will be fine. 18 October same year I had a serious one where I fell out of the no where and I personally thought my spine broke and I requested an ambulance instead of being taken to the hospital by a car on arrival I was rushed for scans coz it was so severe that my whole left side was affected. I was hospitalized for a week and when I got discharged I was only given simvastatin and red disprin because they couldn't find the cause of the stroke, but after 2 years of taking the the combo they concluded that I was born with deficiency of protein S where my blood would just thicken from time and again causing blood clots.
Its pity how our community would associate stroke affected people with the stigma of HIV/AIDS, they don't allow themselves to learn through other people's journey. My signs started as my eye blinking voluntarily and I thought I am gonna see someone or cry little did I know that my blood couldn't circulate properly through the veins but these days I know better when I come across that signs or spasm I quickly take my red disprin.
I almost suffered the 3rd stroke in M arch 2021 but because I have more knowledge now and God has my back I have made it
