I'd recommend taking the early HP, and force regen talents early on. By the time you've got them you'll have a few lightsaber styles to play with and figure out what style you like.
I normally like a slow, heavy hitting option in games. But in this particular game I find I much prefer the fast attacking dual wield. Yeah you get locked in animation, but the attacks are so swift you've completed and can dodge away while other stances are still swinging. You often have a narrow window to exploit an opening before going back into defending.

Let me help everybody out and make this quick. Upgrade the Force powers of confusion first, This way you won't even have to use your lightsaber much. From there upgrade the skill tree connected to extending your Force bar. Then focus on survival tree. Then focus on your lightsaber stances. I was extremely powerful early by simply turning my enemies against themselves.
I will probably be able to buy the game around June or July. I intend to get that force regeneration perk and will first master double blade and blaster stances. The Blaster deadeye seems like it would go well with the regen perk. I don't get to see what all the perks are or the maximum amount of them but I like what they do. I like shatter (I feel like it works great with double stance because of the many fast strikes they do.)
Well Tim, if lightsabers were real they would absolutely have mass and having a lager hilt which the cross guards hilt is And a larger blade it would in fact be much heavier. Not to mention George Lucas himself has said lightsabers are heavy . So yes all sabers are heavy and the crossgaurd is heavier
@@timpoling8634 it has something to do with how the plasma which would usually be weightless is being held together with a magnetic field . I don’t fully remember been a while since I’ve listened to an explanation but they aren’t weightless. And even if the blade itself was weight less the hilt would absolutely not be . Especially because they can be made of metals far heavier than steel or iron like beskar.
@@timpoling8634 they are heavy because of the focus jedi need to have to direct the energy in the blade. in star wars rebels, they kinda go in about this when sabine wren was training with the darksaber.she says the blade was heavier than she expected in wich her tutor, Kanan Jarrus, says something in the line of : energy flows through the crystal. you're not fighting with a sword, you are directing a current of power so basicly the weight comes from the huge energy the blade produces. but its not exactly like a genuine weight or mass, more like its heavy to focus the power in the blade with your thoughts etc. so i believe the stronger u are in the force etc the lighter the saber would be. im sorry for the lenghty text tho lol, the geek came out xD

That first fight... He's losing health left and right and I'm just wondering why he didn't push the thing off the ledge. Case of the good ol' trees and forest I guess.

Single light saber was my preferred in the last game (it hit harder), but its fairly bland in this game. Changing to the other stances was the difference from me getting my ass kicked by a boss and downing it instantly with a new stance. So try them out!
All these RUclipsrs neglecting the single blade stance is almost laughable. The single blade is the best all around stance in the game. It has no real weaknesses and still hits hard. It has the most diverse sets of skill upgrades as well. You have lunge that reaches pretty far (2nd upgrade), you have dash and air dash, you have overhead strikes, you have charged throw that can cut through more than one enemy and hits harder. You have the regular attacks etc. All other stances have trade-offs built in. That makes them good and one type of action/focus. But weak in another. Moat of the skill upgrades are basically just follow up to previous skill. Less diversity in actions. That doesn't mean they aren't good. I am just saying the single blade stance isn't weak or useless. It's actually the most well-rounded stance bar none.
All healts exept the auto dodge. then dual wiels, and then crossguard... but to be honest. cross guard does so much damage, but you only get 1 or 2 hits. against someone like ravies. so its bit finnicy, and mosly usable only against bosses.
Precision release for dual wield is wildly overrated. It frankly sucks in my experience. Unlike the auto-dodge skill, Precision release starts burning your force the minute you activate it, not when you actually parry the enemy. This means that unless your timing is so good that you could have parried normally, you end up burning your force for nothing.
The whole footage of the blaster stance shows how useless it really is. Any other stance would have steam rolled through those enemies in that footage. IMO.
This is a easy answer before even watching the video. The resilience and concentration trees nothing else. All other trees are just giving variety in attack animations so the stances don’t get boring to look at which to me is a waste of time to unlock when blocking parring and basic attacks can win every single fight in the game. Also no incentive to really want to play on harder difficulties either with no unique rewards like better perks or not caring to stroke your own ego when frankly no one gives a shit if you beat it on grand master or finish the game at all for that matter. The idea that there is prestige when defeating things on the highest difficulty has died. Everyone is selfish now and care only for what they can get in games and will do anything to get what they want. The newer generations of players are no brain low life’s that just want to grind for 40 hrs to unlock a skin they will either rarely use or not use at all. Most people will play through the game once and never play it again after the 20-30hr mark. They will get bored of the parkour and the majority of fights will blend together since they will only use the stances that give the most advantage. Meaning the vast majority will use cross guard just to kill everything easier and because they think it makes them look cool. There are no fun in video games anymore simply because they are all copying each other.

Single is the best for grand master because the low recovery frames and high damage output. You don’t need any upgrades to easily beat bosses.

Quick tip on Push Parry. Works on unblockable attacks. If you can get the timing down.

Swift focus is absolutely crucial on JGM. You can essentially always have full force if you learn to dodge the enemies.
